I am Pastor Mady Kading. A gay, non-binary pastor. My goal is to create a safe space for all Christ followers no matter what their sexual orientation is. Often times, it can be incredibly difficuly to find a church as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. But this podcast is not only for those of us who are a part of that wonderful community, it is for EVERYONE! I hope to teach you something new about the Bible, Jesus, and expand your mindset to create a more positive outlook on what being a Christian is all about. If I can bring the church to you, that is what I am going to do.
In episode one, you will hear my personal coming out story. I don't take a whole lot very seriously, so at times it was difficult to talk about. However, it is such a huge part of why I wanted to become a Pastor. I reference a quote from a book I read by the awesome author, Jefferson Bethke. The book is called Jesus>Religion and it is one of my all time favorites. Thank you to my wonderful wife, family, and friends for your ongoing support. I appreciate y'all.
