Tom gives some his background while telling the story of a German Exchange student that become a huge influence in his life, his parents life, and all those around him.

After an introduction to the series, Tom will tell a story that has changed his life forever. The events in the story are dramatic and graphic. The hindsight and reflection of the events are still something he works to untangle more than 15 years later.
