We're back with some more Gilmore Girls! Join us in this journey on social media - @gilmorethemerrierpod. ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 2) Lorelai hesitates to tell her parents about her engagement to Max, despite Rory's urging. Rory and Dean have a spat over Rory's plans for extracurricular activities. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 2) October 9, 2001 | The WB CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 2) Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore BRAN'S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSIS Lorelai has officially entered wedding planning mode. She tells Rory she went dress shopping the day before…and it was AWFUL. Rory is like, “Great, we're going right now!” At Chilton, Paris is signing up for summer school, extra classes, extracurriculars — the whole thing. Rory walks up, but Paris is still mad about the Tristan situation. She tells Rory she better not show up at the charity home-building event tomorrow. Rory's like, “Oh, I'll be there.” Remember Henry, the guy Lane hit it off with at the party? He tells Rory he tried calling, but Mrs. Kim scared him off. So he gives Rory his number to pass along. Friday night dinner time. Rory reminds Lorelai she needs to tell Emily and Richard about the engagement. Lorelai's like, “I will soon, okay?!” Richard pulls Rory aside and apologizes for how he treated Dean. He says he wanted to do it in person. Rory forgives him, and they hug. Progress! Meanwhile, Lorelai is alone with Emily and decides to finally tell her about the engagement. Emily's response? “That's nice. I hope I'm in town.” Lorelai is…not thrilled. The next day, Rory heads to the house-building charity event. She shows up with a pink, fluffy hammer (not ideal), and the guy in charge is basically like, “Good luck.” Paris immediately claims a wall and tells Rory to find somewhere else. She reveals she's been volunteering for years — it's all part of her Harvard plan. Rory realizes…she is WAY behind on extracurriculars. Uh oh. Rory vents to Dean, spiraling about how she can't relax this summer — she has to catch up. Dean is not loving this. He just wants to spend time together and is like, “Is that too much to ask?” Lorelai feels bad seeing Rory so stressed, which kind of ruins her date with Max. Max talks about how supportive his parents are, and Lorelai is like…must be nice. He tries to get her to think about things rationally, but instead she decides to bring him to meet her parents. Bold choice. This leads to a big fight with Emily. Lorelai finally lets it out: “Why don't you care? You've never cared, and it hurts.” Emily fires back that she found out about the engagement from a stranger instead of her own daughter. The next day at work, Lorelai realizes it was Sookie who told Emily while planning an engagement party. Everything clicks. At the party, Lorelai is actually having a great time — even though Max is about to leave for Toronto for a while. Dean finds Rory, and they make up. Meanwhile, Lorelai notices Luke isn't there, so she goes to the diner. He gives a weird excuse about being busy “working”…on ketchup. She tells him she really wants him there — it's an important night. When Luke finally shows up, he sees Lorelai slow dancing with Max. They spot each other and just…wave. Oof. The episode ends with Lorelai going to Emily for advice about veils. She apologizes for not telling her sooner and admits they don't communicate well. She explains she was scared of how Emily would react. Emily softens…just a little. Then tells her her head is too big for a veil and she should wear a tiara — like she did. Festive Friday is back with some classic elevator entrapment! ABOUT STUCK ON CHRISTMAS The competition for a major promotion is heating up between Synclaire and James, two ambitious rivals whose professional antagonism has spilled over into playful (and not-so-playful) pranks. But when a sudden malfunction leaves them both stranded in the company elevator on Christmas Eve, their race for the top becomes a desperate struggle for freedom. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR STUCK ON CHRISTMAS November 4, 2025 | CW CAST & CREW OF STUCK ON CHRISTMAS Director: Johnnard Harper Cast: April Dillard as Synclaire Antrone Harris as James BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS This dude is out to dinner with his girlfriend and he proposes. She says no. We then get a really long intro of James and Sinclair waking up in the morning. He is in a very good mood. Today is the big day at work. He's getting that promotion baby! Sinclair shows up late for work, like always. But she also really wants that promotion. Their boss comes in. She brings everyone in who is up for the promotion and tells them who the top two are. It's James and Sinclair. She calls them both into her office and tells them it's crunch time. Whoever is most likable at the Christmas party will get that promotion. They make a wager that whoever loses has to be the other person's assistant. This leads to prank time such as putting sticky notes on the bottom of him and his best friend's mugs that makes it look like they're in love, spiking their tacos with laxatives. But they get them back with...FART SPRAY!!! They all go home to clean up and Sinclair realizes that she still needs to shop for her secret Santa who is...uh oh, JAMES! The party happens. It's a good time. James goes to leave and ends up getting on the elevator at the same time as Sinclair. And the elevator ends up getting stuck! They end up getting mutually turned on by each other when they have to take off their jackets & sweaters because it's hot. They drink, they play games, and they end up kissssingggggg. They end up getting out I think and they have, let's say romantic dreams, about each other. But uh oh there's a knock on her door and... it's her ex! AHHHH! The next day or so at work, she gets the promotion but he's not mad. Cut to the beginning of the movie with the proposal again. It's James proposing to Sinclair. She says no. Then she says I'm just kidding and says yes. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? His dad calls him and says there's been an emergency and asks him to come home. Ash is like I'm too busy to help you. It's clear that he and his dad don't see eye to eye. But no time to wallow. She finds out that the roses for the Derby's blanket of roses are stuck in South America. So she posts a video on social media asking for the community to all bring their roses. And it works! The roses come flying in. Big success! Flowers everywhere. Life is good. Rory is talking to Lorelai about where she should get married…which Lorelai very much does not want to talk about, considering she hasn't even decided if she's going to say yes yet. Rory heads over to talk to Lane, who has bad news: her parents bought her a one-way ticket to Korea for the summer. Yikes. Lorelai goes to buy a newspaper and spots a bunch of wedding magazines. She ends up grabbing one, which feels like a BIG sign. Miss Patty immediately clocks it and asks if she's told Luke. Lorelai says no, but she's about to — and insists it's not a big deal because they're just friends. Naturally, the entire town follows her to Luke's to watch through the window. Luke handles it well at first…until he doesn't. He starts rapid-fire questioning her: Where will you live? Will you have kids? Will you keep working after you're married? Lorelai is not loving this interrogation. Friday night dinner time. When they arrive, Emily is unusually chipper — Rory finished in the top 3%! Everyone already knew, which kind of kills the moment, but they celebrate anyway. During dinner, Lorelai starts fidgeting with the ring and even moves it to her ring finger. This sends her spiraling enough to call Max and try to talk through all the questions Luke brought up. Max asks if these questions mean she's saying yes… She comes back to the table, smiles at Rory — and Rory instantly knows what that means. Emily and Richard are completely in the dark. Surely she'll tell them now, right? …Nope. The next day, Lorelai tells Sookie, who is THRILLED — like, emotional tears thrilled. Since they're official again, Rory invites him to meet her grandparents at a celebratory dinner. It goes…poorly. Richard is not impressed. He grills Dean hard — college plans, grades, career goals — and gives him a whole speech about how special Rory is. Rory defends Dean, and the dinner ends abruptly. Back home, Lorelai explains to Rory that it wasn't really about Dean — it's about the pressure her parents put on Rory. She's everything they hoped Lorelai would be, and seeing Dean triggers all of that. Lorelai asks Rory to cut them a little slack. Meanwhile, back at Emily and Richard's, Richard is still fuming — until the phone rings. It's Sookie, calling about an engagement party for Lorelai and Max. And that's how Emily finds out her daughter is engaged. She storms into Richard's office and demands he apologize to Rory. He's confused — why? Emily explains: if they want Rory to trust them with big news someday, they need to fix this now. Alexander allows each of them to make a statement as to why they deserve the land. Tom explains that he's been working this land for 3.5 years. It's his. Doyal's daughter explains that the law is that the first person who has worked the land and files an application gets the land. That's the law. Alexander decides that the law is clear - the first to file gets the land. Doyal did it first. However, in a world of right & wrong, uphold what is right. Tom has been working the land for years before the prospectors arrived. The law is for land that hasn't already been claimed, not in a situation where the land has already been claimed. Tom gets the land but Doyal is able to cross it to get to other streams. Doyal is not pleased and says he's going to take it up to Alexander's superiors. Ned's parents come to say goodbye to Rebecca. She says wait...you can stay here for free if you run my mess tent. They agree to stay. The episode ends with Rebecca and Sarah planting an apple seed in honor of Jim. While in Chicago, we see someone who I assume is Jim's mom seeing a drawing of Rebecca and Sarah in the paper. Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) Alice is about to graduate high school; Kat and Elliot dream of the next steps for their relationship; Del realizes she will soon be an empty-nester again. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) April 26, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSIS Elliot is all sad that the pond didn't take him. Del is helping him talk through it. We see a flashback of teenage Elliot leaving the house and Del and Colton telling him he's always welcome to stay. After he walks out, Del is like we never should've let him leave. It's not what Tessa would've wanted. Colton says we just need to keep loving him. That's our promise. Kat comes out of the pond in 1925. Fern says I guess I shouldn't know when you're from but I can ask why. Kat says she's looking for Tessa Augustine. She says I do know some Augustines but no Tessa. She asks Kat her name and Fern says I will call you Kitty Kat. Fern has the same conversation with Alice in 1976. Fern says she hasn't seen anyone matching that description from Tessa. She takes Alice to the house and Alice is like...why am I here? Fern is like I have no idea but it's time for my nap. In the '20s, Fern says she's never time traveled. She has no interest in heading back in time. She's a modern girl. She only cares about the future. In fact, this is the first time she's come across a time traveler. Alice is walking down the street and Evelyn drives by, so excited to see Kat again! Fern and Kat also walk down the street and Fern gets a couple of Augustine boys to stop the car to pick them up. She asks about a Tessa and they're both like I have no idea who you're talking about. Alice gets to Coyle's and Jasper gives her a welcome back milkshake. She asks if he knows a Tessa. He's like sure don't. Back in the present, Elliot is looking at the picture of him and his mom. The clock suddenly starts playing a song when Del shows up to check on him. She asks him to come with her. Alice is looking at this song book of songs from the area and asks about this one from 1926. She picks up her guitar and starts to play the song. Fern brings Kat to the newspaper where she's living and invites Kat to this get together in the evening. Maybe Tessa will be there. Del has Elliot fix something in the barn and he tells her about how he got his 5 more minutes with Colton right here in the barn. It means a lot to him. Del asks if Elliot and Kat are still going to get married. Back in the '20s, Fern & Kat are getting changed for the party when Dan Jerrott walks in. His name is Cliff and he's like oh I'm just looking for the editor. He and Fern have some flirty flirty fun time. They head to the party at the Lingermore estate, a place where prohibition doesn't exist. Grayson is pulling all the strings and even has Phantom of the Opera playing at the party. Colton shows up in the '70s and is excited to see Alice! Evelyn takes them to see her husband Ash. Grayson tells the party that he's going to film a movie right there in Port Haven and Fern will be his star in his movie, Cassandra in the Lighthouse. She introduces Grayson to Kat. Ash is waxing poetic about poetry and Evelyn is hanging on every word. He's a big traveler and doesn't understand why anyone would want to stay in Port Haven. He and Colton get in a bit of an argument. Evelyn is like ok enough of that, let's go explore the tunnels. While Fern is singing a song, Kat sees Grayson talking with the Augustine boys and they hand Grayson a wad of cash that he puts in his pocket. THEN he comes down and proposes to Fern! She says yes! The gang is in the tunnels. While down there they find a pair of old glasses and Alice finds a bullet shell. Kat warns Fern that Grayson might not be on the up and up because the Augustine brothers paid him for something. Fern is like I'm sure it's nothing. Elliot and Del are at the bar and we find out that Jacob got a job at a bar in Toronto. This causes Del to drink a lot. In the '20s, the prohibition officers show up. They ditch their drinks and run! Colton can't handle this Ash guy and goes to leave. Evelyn is hurt by this and runs into the study. Alice goes to check on her and she tells Alice that she's pregnant. On the walk back home from the party, Cliff stops them. He's the fuzz and says that he should fine them for the alcohol. Fern is like Kat doesn't have any money because she's a time traveler. He just laughs and says that's a new one. Alice finds Colton and sings him a song that she's been working on. Colton is like the song was nice but it wasn't from your heart. Alice says she is afraid to bare her soul in a song. Kat and Fern end up back at the pond. Fern says I think the pond brought you here to give you a heck of a good time. She asks Fern to keep her ear to the ground on a Tessa Augustine, or maybe her maiden name Tessa Cooper. She comes back and tells Del about her time with Fern. Del says none of that matches what I know about Fern. The stuff she had told Del is straight out of the movie she was gonna be in. The episode ends with Del showing Elliot a picture she has that is ripped that includes his mom saying she made a pact with Tessa but some pacts had a shelf life. Then Alice and Colton finishing their hang out sesh when a motorbike drives by fast. So they follow it and he's like that's my brother, Griffin. Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 1) Alice is about to graduate high school; Kat and Elliot dream of the next steps for their relationship; Del realizes she will soon be an empty-nester again. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 1) April 19, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 1) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 1) SYNOPSIS We start in "the future". Someone has their hand in the pond...It's Kat. In fact, they're all there. Kat, Alice, Del. They say they gotta go see the "I do". Cut back to the present, and Kat, Elliot, and Alice all jump in the pond together to try to find his mom while Sam watches from behind a tree. They get out of the water and they see baby Elliot there in a crib with the letter his mom wrote. They suspect that she jumped in the pond but she would've needed a Landry in order to time travel. Meanwhile, Jacob is missing. Apparently he's at the bus stop, so she rushes to stop him from leaving. So they bring the basket with Elliot and put him on the porch of a young Del and Colton, but they don't seem surprised. Adult Elliot is like why aren't they surprised by this? Del stops the bus and Jacob is like I need to go. I need to see if I can make a life here on my own. She says fine, I'm not gonna fight to keep you if you don't want to be kept. 7 months later - Alice is in a field playing a guitar. Kat finds her and is like it's time to go! She graduates in 2 days! Elliot is talking to Del and updates her on planning the perfect proposal for Kat. But Del is busy digging random holes. She's looking for...something. One night, Elliot wakes up from a crazy dream. He goes downstairs to grab that clock and the clock suddenly starts making music. Del finds what she's looking for. It's a tin bucket full of trinkets. She's interrupted from going through it by a package from Jacob. It's for Alice. He's in Toronto and he's sent a couple of books for her. They're disappointed there's no info about what he's doing there. They all go to a graduation party together and Alice sings the song she and her grandpa sang together back in the day. The next day, it's graduation day. They throw a little family party. Del shares a letter she found in the bucket and realized that she probably made Kat mad by not reading it to her when she graduated. Later, Del hears Tainted Love and it causes the audio of a memory to come rushing back and it doesn't sound great. Alice goes to hang out with Max Goodwin who is apparently her best friend. They get into a little argument and she goes to grab her stuff and she sees his dad watching some old reels from the '20s. She goes in and he leaves and she sees Fern Landry dancing when suddenly she sees her mom come into the shot and pull her away. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?! So she steals the reel and brings it back to show Kat and Elliot. It becomes clear that Kat is going to be going back to 1925 and this reminds her of something old Fern said... 65 in 25. 25 could be 1925. 65 could be the age of Elliot's mom. Alice goes to dig a hole to put her own box in the ground but finds a suitcase underground. It belongs to Tessa, Elliot's mom. So Kat and Elliot decide to jump but the pond doesn't take Elliot. So Alice jumps in after her. When she comes out, she sees old Fern. But when Kat gets out, she sees young Fern. UH OH! AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR DOCTOR STRANGE November 4, 2016 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF DOCTOR STRANGE Director: Scott Derrickson Writers: Jon Spaihts, Scott Derrickson, C. Robert Cargill Producers: Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo Rachel McAdams as Dr. Christine Palmer Benedict Wong as Wong Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecilius Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One BRAN'S DOCTOR STRANGE SYNOPSIS We open with a group of sorcerers breaking into a secret temple, killing a dude, and stealing some pages out of a very important magic book, as you do. Their old teacher, The Ancient One, tries to stop them, but they get away. Then we meet Dr. Stephen Strange. He's a world-famous neurosurgeon, rich, brilliant, and incredibly egotistical. On his way to an event, he gets in a crazy car crash and destroys his hands, which is a real problem when your hands are your entire personality. His friend Christine Palmer tries to help him heal, but Stephen would rather burn through all his money chasing miracle cures. Eventually, he hears about a guy who was paralyzed and can now walk again, which sends him all the way to Nepal. There, he meets Mordo and The Ancient One, who show him that they have the ability to heal him and give him a little mystical mind- tour through dimensions, astral projection. Stephen is all in. At first they say no and kick him out but ultimately agree to let him study as long as he humbles himself. So now Strange is studying the mystic arts. He also meets Wong, the librarian who gives him the rundown on everything. He learns that Earth is being protected by three magical Sanctums in New York, London, and Hong Kong, and if those fall, bad things happen. Strange speeds through his studies and starts sneaking around reading forbidden texts. Naturally, this leads him to discovering the Eye of Agamotto, which can manipulate time. Meanwhile, Kaecilius—the guy who stole the pages—is trying to summon Dormammu, a giant dark-space demon who promises eternal life in a timeless dimension He destroys the London Sanctum and then attacks the New York one. Strange, with help from a magical cape, manages to fight back. But he gets stabbed and has to literally astral-project himself to the hospital so Christine can save his life during surgery.. Back at magic HQ, Strange learns that The Ancient One has been pulling energy from the Dark Dimension this whole time to stay alive, and Mordo is not thrilled to find out his mentor has been doing morally gray immortality stuff behind everyone's back. Kaecilius attacks again and The Ancient One gets fatally wounded, and before she dies, she tells Strange and Mordo they need each. So Strange and Mordo head to Hong Kong, only to find the place completely wrecked, Wong dead, and the Dark Dimension swallowing Earth. IT's not looking good. But... Strange reverse time, fixes the destruction, saves Wong, and then goes to bargain with Dormammu. How does he do that? Well, he traps himself and Dormammu in an endless time loop and basically just annoys him into surrendering. In the end, Mordo is so disgusted by all the rule-bending and cosmic loopholes that he quits being a sorcerer and storms off. Strange returns the Eye, which, surprise, is actually an Infinity Stone—and decides to hang around in the New York Sanctum with Wong, continuing his wizard training and learning more about the unknown. It's Marvel Monday and we're shrinking down to size! ABOUT ANT-MAN Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ANT-MAN July 17, 2015 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF ANT-MAN Director: Peyton Reed Writers: Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay Cast: Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym Corey Stoll as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Back in 1989, Hank Pym is working with S.H.I.E.L.D. until he finds out they're trying to copy his shrinking technology, and he's like, “Absolutely not, y'all are way too shady for tiny science.” So he quits and decides nobody gets the shrink suit on his watch. Fast forward to the present and Hank's life is not going great. His daughter Hope is mad at him, his former protégé Darren Cross has basically stolen his company, and Cross is this close to making his own terrifying murder-shrinking suit called Yellowjacket. Hank sees this and is like, “Cool, this is really bad” and does not sign off on it but Darren doesn't care. Meanwhile, we meet Scott Lang, a lovable ex-con whose main personality trait is that he's trying really hard. He gets out of prison, moves in with his buddy Luis, and wants to be a good dad to his daughter Cassie. Unfortunately, society has decided once you've gone to jail you're only allowed to work at Baskin-Robbins for like six minutes before getting fired. He tries to visit Cassie, but his ex Maggie and her cop fiancé Paxton are like, “Maybe pay child support before doing surprise pop-ins, my guy.” So naturally, Scott does what any struggling dad trying to get his life together would do: he agrees to do one more burglary. His buddy Luis tells him about this rich old dude's house with a big safe, so Scott breaks in, cracks the safe, and finds… a weird leather motorcycle suit. Not cash. Not jewels. He takes it home, puts it on, and immediately shrinks down to bug-size and nearly dies in a bathtub and getting stomped on at a party, all while some voice talks to him in his mask. Terrified, Scott decides to return the suit, but on his way out he gets arrested. cuz thief. But surprise! The whole thing was a setup by Hank Pym, who wanted to see if Scott had the skills to become the new Ant-Man. He tells Scott that if he wants to help and also get out of the jail, to put back on the suit. It works and he shrinks again and sneaks out.. Hank recruits Scott to help steal the Yellowjacket tech before Darren Cross can sell it to evil people, which, spoiler alert, he absolutely plans to do. So now Scott enters the classic superhero training montage portion of the movie where he learns hand-to-hand combat, how to use the suit, and most importantly, how to command ants like some kind of tiny bug king. Hope, meanwhile, is clearly way more qualified for all of this and would obviously be better at the job, but Hank refuses to let her do it because he's still deeply traumatized over what happened to her mother Janet. We learn Janet was the original Wasp and got lost in the Quantum Realm years ago while stopping a missile, which is both sad and also the most comic-book sentence imaginable. To prep for the big heist, Scott needs a special device, which means he has to sneak into Avengers headquarters. This leads to a random but delightful side quest where he fights Sam Wilson, aka Falcon, and somehow wins mostly by being annoying and tiny. It's one of those MCU moments where the movie just casually reminds you, “Oh right, this all technically connects.” Then it's time for the big finale. Darren Cross unveils the Yellowjacket at Pym Technologies during a fancy event, and Scott and the crew break in to stop the sale. Luis and the gang somehow become essential parts of the mission despite being, at best, wildly underqualified. Scott sneaks in with a whole army of ants, plants explosives, and tries to steal the suit. But Cross is ready for them because of course he is, and he captures Scott, Hank, and Hope. He reveals he's planning to sell the tech to Hydra, because if there's one thing Hydra loves, it's tiny fascism. Things go sideways fast, but Scott and Hope fight back, the building starts collapsing, and Hank gets shot because apparently old men in Marvel are legally required to get wounded in the third act. Scott chases Cross, who puts on the Yellowjacket suit and becomes a full-on flying nightmare. Their final battle somehow goes from high-tech corporate warfare to a fight in Cassie's bedroom, which is honestly one of the best visual gags in the whole movie. Trains are crashing, Thomas the Tank Engine is involved, and to Cassie it probably just looks like two dads having a nervous breakdown. When Cross takes Cassie hostage, Scott has no choice but to do the one thing Hank warned him never to do: override the regulator and shrink beyond human comprehension into the Quantum Realm. Which sounds fake, but in this movie is very real and extremely stressful. Scott manages to sabotage Yellowjacket from the inside, Cross gets absolutely obliterated, and somehow Scott finds his way back from the Quantum Realm because apparently he's just built different. After saving literally everyone, Scott finally gets a win. Paxton decides maybe this guy isn't so bad after all and helps keep him out of prison. Hank realizes that if Scott could survive the Quantum Realm, maybe Janet could still be alive. Hope gets teased with her own Wasp suit, which everyone in the audience immediately wanted to see instead, and Luis pops back in at the end to say Falcon is looking for Scott because once you do one weird tiny mission, suddenly the Avengers are texting. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT December 12, 2025 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT Director: Mike P. Nelson Writers: Mike P. Nelson, Michael Hickey, Paul Caimi Cast: Rohan Campbell as Billy Chapman Ruby Modine as Pamela Sims Mark Acheson as Charlie (Shotgun Santa) Erik Athavale as Geoffrey Chapman BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS We meet this boy who is in an assisted living waiting room and he keeps being creeped out by these random people. The kid goes back to see his grandpa who talks to him about Santa, but he starts coughing like crazy. He goes to get his grandpa some water but it's too late. Grandpa coughs up just an insane amount of blood. Bad news - grandpa is dead. They get on the road and, while at a stop light, a car comes behind them and just slowly taps them. The dad gets out to check and is shot by a Santa Claus. Santa shoots towards the mom. She's able to kick him in the neck with her heel but he gets one last shot in before they both die. The boy, Billy, is there to watch it all. Years later, Billy is now an adult. He wakes up in a hotel room and we see a dead body in the bathtub. He takes some of the blood from that body and puts it in this weird bloody advent calendar he keeps. Billy hears this voice that's kind of guiding him. It's a bit like Venom. You know Venom? It's like that. Billy sees a woman that he fancies and follows her to the Christmas shop that she works at. He applies for the job and gets it so that he can be close to her. Her name is Pamela. It doesn't take long for him to find his next victim - an older dude who hits on Pam. We find out that way back when, after his mom stabbed Santa with her heel, Billy went to check on him and when they touched hands, this electrical surge passes between them. That's the voice we hear. We find out that there's an urban legend in town - the Snatcher. Someone who takes kids. Pam's dad is like it's just a myth...although, there is an alarming number of missing kids. Pam gets arrested for sticking up for her nephew. Her ex-boyfriend is a cop and he tells her that she's being released. That's when we find out that they broke up because he punched her in the face. He really wants to get back with her but she's not having it. Luckily for Billy, he comes across a nazi Christmas party. That makes picking his next kill pretty quickly. He just goes ham on the nazis but the head nazi starts shooting and he ends up getting hit which allows her to get away. But he's ok. It's not his first rodeo. Tough break for Billy. He's asked to play Santa at work which turns out to be incredibly challenging for him because of what happens to him when he puts on the suit. But he's able to make it through and Pam is very impressed and finds him in the back room and they make out and what not. We see Pam's dad come across this little girl who is in a van. She had been taken by the Snatcher. The Snatcher comes behind him and kills him. Obviously, Pam is distraught. She tells Billy that she wished Santa was real so that she could ask Santa to kill the guy who killed her dad. Billy decides to confide in her. He tells her about the electrical surge and how he now is guided by the voice of Charlie, aka Santa. Santa knows who has been naughty and is able to show Billy what they did. So Billy only kills guys that he knows have done real bad stuff. Pam is unfazed. Charlie leads them to a Christmas tree lot where they find three kids in this bunker with ball pit balls. Pam goes down there and little does she know that the Snatcher is down there too. Guided by Charlie, Billy is able to kill the Snatcher by stabbing him with a box cutter. When he goes outside, Pam's ex-boyfriend cop is there and he shoots Billy. Pam comes out and sees Billy laying there. He's dying. She grabs his hand and the electrical surge happens. She now has "it". She kills her ex and then hears Billy's voice who will be guiding her. He asks if she's ready for this and she smiles. Jacks joins us this week to begin our journey into Hope Valley: 1874. ABOUT: HOPE VALLEY: 1874 (SEASON 1 EPISODE 2) When Tom refuses to provide lumber for the boardinghouse, Rebecca gets creative. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: HOPE VALLEY: 1874 (SEASON 1 EPISODE 2) March 26, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: HOPE VALLEY: 1874 (SEASON 1 EPISODE 2) Bethany Joy Lenz as Rebecca Clarke Benjamin Ayres as Tom Moore BRAN'S HOPE VALLEY: 1874 (SEASON 1 EPISODE 2) SYNOPSIS The episode starts off in a pretty shocking way - Rebecca is met by her husband, Jim, who is supposed to be dead! Turns out, it was all a dream. Womp womp. But then she thinks her daughter is missing. Turns out, double dream! INCEPTION! The next day, Rebecca and Sarah get to work on the boarding house. It's actually going really well. But she needs lumber for sale. Unfortunately for her, the only one who has spare lumber is Tom who is still against the boarding house opening. She decides to give it a shot anyway and ask and it doesn't go well. While she was at Tom's, she left Sarah with another mom, Peggy & her daughter, Jenny. Sarah is shocked to find out that not everyone can read. Tom has to rush off though because he finds out that Doyal is encroaching on his property. He threatens him that if he doesn't skedaddle, he's gonna shoot him. But then his daughter comes out, so that complicates things, obviously. Rebecca has an idea to sell pies, so she goes to talk to Hattie about it. While in the boarding house, she sees Olivia drawing and it's really good. She asks her if she'd come and draw some ideas she has for the boarding house. Hattie is not thrilled about this. Doyal's had it with Tom's ish, so he goes to the new law in town, Alexander. He says he'll look into it. While on his horse, he comes up beside Rebecca and Sarah and he asks them about Tom. They tell him that Tom isn't a bad guy. He then goes to talk to Tom and he says unless he has documentation proving that this land is his, the prospectors can do whatever they want on his land. One night, Rebecca goes out to the prospector area and finds a ton of her wood from the boarding house that they've been taking to burn. She begs them to stop doing that. There's a bit of a love connection going on between Clayton (Tom's blacksmith guy) and Olivia, Hattie's daughter. But Olivia dreams of the big city. And when he sees her light up when Alexander brings up Toronto, he gets sad. Rebecca talks to the trading guy about getting lumber brought in. He tells her it's gonna likely be over $500 which is more than she has. She's looking at her ring and her daughter says whatever you do, don't sell your ring. Lars, Ned's dad, shows up with the wood from the prospectors. They wanted to return it to her. Tom is there when this happens and tells her it looks like she's making friends. He also insists that she not pay him for the carriage wheel. Instead, he wants her to teach Peggy how to read. The episode ends with Alexander writing a field report about this place. He says nothing of note except one woman who is a bit suspicious. Why would someone leave with her daughter to come to open a boarding house? UH OH! It's Marvel Monday and the Avengers are back to face their greatest threat yet(?)! ABOUT AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON When Tony Stark and Bruce Banner try to jump-start a dormant peacekeeping program called Ultron, things go horribly wrong and it's up to Earth's mightiest heroes to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plan. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON May 1, 2015 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Director: Joss Whedon Writers: Joss Whedon, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby Cast: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk Chris Hemsworth as Thor Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye James Spader as Ultron Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch Paul Bettany as Jarvis/Vision Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Meet the Avengers — back together again because apparently no one else can handle a simple “let's raid a HYDRA base” situation. Their mission? Break into Baron von Strucker's operation, stop some deeply concerning human experimentation, and get Loki's scepter back where it belongs. Easy enough… until they run into Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, a pair of enhanced twins with super speed, mind games, and enough power to make everyone very uncomfortable. After recovering the scepter, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner do what Tony Stark and Bruce Banner always do: they mess with something they absolutely should not mess with. Hidden inside the scepter is the advanced intelligence they think can finally complete Ultron, a global peacekeeping program Tony has been dreaming about. Unfortunately, Ultron wakes up with exactly one idea in mind: humanity has got to go. He destroys J.A.R.V.I.S., wrecks Avengers Tower, steals the scepter, and heads out to build himself a better future… one without people in it. Ultron recruits Wanda and Pietro by showing them Tony's greatest hits in collateral damage, and together they set out to collect vibranium for whatever nightmare project he's cooking up. When the Avengers try to stop them, Wanda gets inside everyone's heads and forces them to confront their worst fears. Things really go off the rails when she manipulates Bruce into becoming the Hulk in the middle of a city, leaving Tony to suit up in the Hulkbuster armor and punch his friend through several buildings. Not great for public relations. With the team shaken, divided, and freshly hated by the public, Hawkeye brings everyone to the one place no one saw coming: his secret farmhouse, where he casually reveals that he has a wife, kids, and a whole hidden life none of them knew about. It's a surprisingly grounding stop for a team on the verge of collapse, and it gives them just enough clarity to realize Ultron's plan is much bigger than they thought. Once Wanda sees that he's not trying to save the world but end it, she and Pietro switch sides and join the Avengers. Things escalate quickly when Ultron kidnaps Natasha, forcing the team into another rescue while also arguing over whether they should trust the strange new synthetic body Tony and Bruce have been building. Thor returns just in time to supercharge the process, explaining that the gem in Loki's scepter is tied to something far more powerful: the Infinity Stones. The result is Vision, a mysterious new being who immediately earns everyone's trust by casually lifting Thor's hammer like it's no big deal. The final showdown takes the team to Sokovia, where Ultron has used vibranium to turn an entire chunk of the city into a floating extinction-level weapon. If he can lift it high enough and drop it, humanity is done. So naturally, the Avengers split up to save civilians, battle an endless robot army, rescue Natasha, and stop the apocalypse all at once. Nick Fury even shows up in a Helicarrier because if the sky city is going down, he's not about to miss it. The battle comes at a cost. Pietro sacrifices himself to save Hawkeye and a child, Wanda unleashes her grief in spectacular fashion, and Hulk ultimately chooses to disappear rather than risk hurting Natasha or anyone else again. In the end, Tony and Thor destroy Sokovia before it can wipe out the planet, and Vision finishes off Ultron for good — or at least as “for good” as these things ever are. By the end, the original team has changed. Thor heads back to Asgard to investigate the larger cosmic mystery. Tony steps away. Hawkeye retires. And Steve Rogers and Natasha are left to train a new generation of Avengers, including War Machine, Falcon, Wanda, and Vision. And just when you think it's over, Thanos puts on a gauntlet and basically says, “Fine. I'll do it myself.
