It's Tuesday which means there's a new Hallmark movie to review! ABOUT NOTHING BUT LOVE A TV director returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival and runs into an old flame, rekindling a merry war of wits in this modern retelling of "Much Ado About Nothing." AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR NOTHING BUT LOVE August 29, 2026 | Hallmark CAST & CREW OF NOTHING BUT LOVE Director: Shamim Sarif Writers: Ramona Barckert, Neal Dodson, William Shakespeare Cast: Ashley Williams as Bea Bishop Niall Matter as Benny Gersten BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS It's time for the Summer Shakespeare Festival and Bea Bishop has arrived ahead of the show she's directing - The Taming of the Shrew. She is pumped, or should I say WAS pumped until she finds out Benny, a popular actor, is going to be the love interest for the play. She's not thrilled because clearly they have a history. Her mom is the one who runs the festival but she's going to retire. Bea says that SHE wants to take it over and her mom is thrilled. The cast gets together for the first time for pizza that Benny brings. Benny meets his leading lady for the first time. Her name is Hannah and it's clear that Hannah has a thing for another guy in the play, Clay. When Benny sees them, he tells Bea to make Clay the lead instead, which she does. Bea finds out that there are some more hoops to leap through before the board approves her to be the new director of the festival. Apparently, there's a buyer interested in purchasing the festival. If the play isn't a success, they need to sell. SO THE STAKES ARE HIGH! She tells Benny about this and they agree to a peace treaty to work together to save the festival. So turns out, Benny was right about Clay and Hannah....a little too right. Bea and Benny follow them into town and see them kiss big ones! Bea is worried that this isn't going to be great for the play - it's going to distract them. So Bea goes to talk to her about it and Hannah is like we're falling in love. Bea is like it's not real love, it's festival love. Hannah disagrees. Bea says this happened to her once - she fell for Benny during their play together and got a bad review, calling her distracted. That's why she ultimately became a director. She tells Hannah if all you're thinking about is how much you're in love with Clay, it's going to affect your performance. Benny ends up having the same conversation with Clay. Hannah and Clay decide they should try to get Bea and Benny together. It gives us a couple of great scenes. Benny and Bea end up getting coffee together and talk through some changes they want to make to the play and then they're getting ready to talk about their feelings but they get interrupted. They begin to wonder if splitting Hannah and Clay up is doing more harm than good. There's a party where everyone is in Shakespearean garb and Bea and Benny try to reverse what they've done and get Hannah and Clay back together, but they end up slow dancing together in the process. The next day, Benny asks if she wants to go for a bite. She's like did you say date? And he's like no I said bite, but yes a date please. She says yes. And they tell each other that they like and love each other via crayon on the table. The SPARKS are flying. On the walk home, they both talk about how they overheard the other actors talking about how they are into each other. IT WAS ALL A BIG TRICK?! This is quite the misunderstanding and she's like well thank goodness we didn't kiss! This argument gets interrupted with a text - Hannah is leaving. She can't handle the pressure of saving this festival. So they all agree it would be best if Benny and Bea took over the lead roles and it's going great! But THEN she hears that Benny told Clay that whoever takes over running the festival has impossibly large shoes to fill. She's like you don't think I can do it! He realizes he done goofed. He needs to figure out a way to show her that not only does he believe she can run this festival, but show her that the love wasn't a trick. He runs to the airport to stop Hannah from leaving and get her to come back and do the show, which she does! The play is going great. The run is sold out. Bea goes to talk to her mom backstage and her mom tells her that her only regret in doing this is that she only focused on her job, not her heart. She encourages her to be sure she tends to her heart. The show is a SMASH hit! After the show, she finds out that they don't need to sell. The board approves of Bea running the festival moving forward! She goes to find Benny. She asks how he got Hannah to come back, and he says "I told her that all she needs to know is that Bea believes in you. When I know that Bea believes in me, I feel like I can do anything." He says I also knew I couldn't play this role with you because I wouldn't be able to hide my feelings for you. She says I wanna be with you and I wanna run this festival with you. She says kiss me you fool and kiss they do, followed by a spin and dip! Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? It's Marvel Monday and we're diving into the Quantum Realm! ABOUT ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne are dragged into the Quantum Realm, along with Hope's parents and Scott's daughter Cassie. Together they must find a way to escape, but what secrets is Hope's mother hiding? And who is the mysterious Kang? AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA February 17, 2023 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA Director: Peyton Reed Writers: Jeff Loveness, Stan Lee, Larry Lieber Cast: Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Scott Lang has settled into a pretty comfortable life. He's a successful writer, he's dating Hope van Dyne, and things are going pretty well. His daughter, Cassie, is now a teenager and has become an activist, helping people who were displaced by the Blip. This has caused some tension between her and Scott, who isn't exactly thrilled with her getting herself into dangerous situations. While visiting Hope's parents, Cassie shows them a device she's been working on that can communicate with the Quantum Realm. Janet freaks out and shuts it down, but it's too late. The device has already sent a signal, opening a portal that sucks Scott, Cassie, Hope, Hank, Janet, and a bunch of Hank's lab ants into the Quantum Realm. Scott and Cassie are separated from the others and are taken in by a group of people who are rebelling against the ruler of the Quantum Realm. Meanwhile, Hope, Hank, and Janet find themselves in a massive city where they run into Lord Krylar, an old friend of Janet's. Unfortunately, Krylar is now working for Kang, the guy who currently rules the Quantum Realm, so they steal his ship and get out of there. The rebels explain to Scott and Cassie that Janet played a role in Kang becoming so powerful. Janet eventually admits that she met Kang during her previous time trapped in the Quantum Realm. Kang told her that he could get both of them home if she helped him repair his multiversal power core. They fixed it, but Janet discovered that Kang was actually a complete psycho who had been conquering and destroying entire timelines. She turned against him and used her Pym Particles to make the power core too large to function. Kang eventually regained his powers and took control of the Quantum Realm anyway. The Langs are eventually captured and brought before Kang, who threatens to kill Cassie unless Scott helps him retrieve his power core. Scott shrinks down and heads into the core, where he encounters a probability storm that creates a bunch of copies of himself. Things get pretty chaotic, but Hope shows up and helps him get the core. Kang captures Janet and has M.O.D.O.K. destroy the ship carrying Hank. Thankfully, Hank is rescued by his ants, who have spent their time in the Quantum Realm evolving into giant, super-intelligent ants. With Hank's help, Scott and Hope head back into the fight. The rebels launch an all-out uprising against Kang and his army. During the battle, Cassie manages to convince M.O.D.O.K. — who turns out to be Darren Cross, the guy Scott thought he killed in the first movie — to switch sides. Cross helps them fight Kang but ultimately sacrifices himself. Janet repairs the power core and she, Hank, Hope, and Cassie make it through a portal back home. Scott is almost left behind when Kang attacks him, but Hope comes back for him. Together, they manage to throw Kang into the power core, seemingly destroying him. Cassie reopens the portal, allowing Scott and Hope to make it home. Scott goes back to his normal life, but he starts thinking about Kang and whether or not it's actually over with him. But he decides he's just not gonna worry about it. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? It's Marvel Monday and Wakanda faces its greatest challenge yet! ABOUT BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER The people of Wakanda fight to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T'Challa. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER November 11, 2022 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Director: Ryan Coogler Writers: Ryan Coogler, Joe Robert Cole, Stan Lee Cast: Letitia Wright as Shuri Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia Danai Gurira as Okoye Angela Bassett as Ramonda BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS T'Challa, the Black Panther himself, is suffering from a terminal illness. His sister, Shuri, believes the heart-shaped herb that gives the Black Panther his powers could save him, but the herb was destroyed. Shuri desperately tries to recreate it synthetically, but she can't do it in time, and T'Challa dies. A year later, Wakanda is facing pressure from countries around the world to share its vibranium. Other nations are even trying to break in and steal it! Queen Ramonda encourages Shuri to continue working on the heart-shaped herb so they can create a new Black Panther to help protect Wakanda, but Shuri says she doesn't think Wakanda needs a Black Panther. A U.S. expedition team is using a vibranium detector when they get a hit beneath the Atlantic Ocean. Before they can recover it, they are attacked and killed by a group of blue-skinned, water-breathing beings and their sound weapons. They are led by someone named Namor. Only knowing about the vibranium detection, the CIA thinks it must've been Wakanda. Namor shows up to confront Ramonda and Shuri. He gives them an ultimatum: hand over the scientist who created the detector to get them off his back or else he will attack Wakanda. Shuri and Okoye learn from CIA Agent Ross that the scientist who created said detector is someone named Riri Williams. Riri turns out to be just an MIT student. They track her down at the university, but before they can get her to safety, they are pursued by the FBI and Namor's warriors. Shuri is taken underwater to meet with Namor who shows her his home and what makes it so special. Namor explains that he has grown bitter toward the surface world because of the slavery and genocide suffered by his people. He proposes that Wakanda join him in an alliance against the rest of the world, while threatening to destroy Wakanda if they refuse. Shuri and Riri are rescued but two of Namor's guards are killed in the process. He's not pleased and Namor attacks Wakanda. During the attack, Queen Ramonda dies and Namor vows to return with his entire army. Shuri discovers that she can use a remnant of the herb that gave Namor's people their superhuman abilities to recreate the heart-shaped herb. She takes it herself and gains the powers of the Black Panther. Shuri returns wearing a new Black Panther suit and is accepted by the other tribes as the new Black Panther. Shuri is determined to get revenge on Namor for killing her mom. The battle begins and Shuri manages to trap Namor and make him weaker. The two eventually crash onto a desert beach and fight one-on-one. Shuri gains the upper hand, but she has a vision of Ramonda, who reminds her to choose a better path. Instead of killing Namor, Shuri offers him a chance to surrender and form a peaceful alliance. Namor accepts, ending the battle. Shuri plants more heart-shaped herbs to ensure that the Black Panther mantle will survive into the future. While she is away, M'Baku challenges for the throne of Wakanda. Shuri then travels to Haiti to visit Nakia. There, she burns her funeral robe, finally allowing herself to grieve for T'Challa and honoring Ramonda's wishes. Shuri learns that Nakia and T'Challa secretly had a son, whom Nakia has been raising in Haiti. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA (SEASON 1 EPISODES 3) August 6, 2026 | Hallmark+ CAST & CREW OF: PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA (SEASON 1 EPISODES 3) Lacey Chabert as Chelsea Martin BRAN'S PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA (SEASON 1 EPISODES 3) SYNOPSIS It's time to find out about Chelsea's 2nd what-if. After her time in Ireland, she spent a couple months in a forest in France. She said that she kept up with Colin from Ireland at first, but the messages became more and more sparse. One day, she's down by a river when this guy walks up with a camera and asks if he can take her photo. She says no, she's a mess. He says she looks beautiful. He says I'll come back tomorrow and ask again. Which he did. In fact, he came back every day asking to take her picture. His camera was his most prized possession. He tells her that he's building his portfolio and that she inspires him. She reluctantly agrees. She puts on a dress and he sets up a time when the lighting will be just right. While taking the pictures, he says I can tell that your heart is broken. She opens up about Colin and then opens up about her life and why she's in France. He shows her the pictures and for the first time in her life, she found herself beautiful. The pictures remain between just the two of them. After giving her the picture, they almost kiss but he stops. He's leaving soon. And so is she. But that didn't stop them from getting closer. They keep hanging out, talking about life, going dancing. When it was time to say goodbye, he can't stop himself from kissing her. Cut to Chelsea telling the story into her phone on what we assume is her wedding day. There's a knock at the door. It's Sebastian and she says "you're not supposed to be up here." But let's get back to the story. She gets the email about Sebastian being in Paris and wanting to meet. Chelsea encourages her sister to stay in Ireland to go on a date with the bartender. She tells Jason Knightly that she's on her way back to Paris and he's not upset about it but she won't tell him why she's back in Paris. Chelsea shows up and finds Sebastian working and he is very successful. He wraps up quickly, pulls her away and immediately kisses her - making up for lost time. They agree to get back together after her meeting. He drops her off at the meeting and Jason Knightly is like that dude doesn't seem Irish. The meeting goes well and Chelsea and Jason actually work great together in this pitch and have a good time chatting afterwards. He even opens up to her about his life. When she gets back to the hotel, she sees that Sebastian sent her a $10,000 dress. Jason Knightly is like ok you gotta tell me everything, which she does. She gets ready for the date and puts on the dress. She is picked up by Sebastian as Jason Knightly watches from the window. For the date, Sebastian takes her to…his studio to take more pictures of her. She tells him why she's there for work and he says he can put in a good word cuz he knows the CEO of that company. He says but I need something in return….I want to use your original photos in this exhibition. She says you promised the pictures were just for us. This whole day was just to coerce me into signing those pictures away? He says no. I want you. Think of the power couple we could be. She says but what if I don't sign the pictures away? He says I need you to sign. And she says goodbye and also….the answer is no. Cut back to the wedding. He says I just need to take pictures of the dress. We find out apparently she made a deal - she'd sign the pictures away in exchange for him photographing her wedding. Back in Paris, she walks to get some food and of course Jason Knightly is there too. She joins him and they eat together. She says you were right - everyone always wants something, something he said after their meeting earlier. And he says "I can't imagine wanting anything when you're wearing that dress." She pitches that if she makes this happen, she gets the EP gig. Her boss says it's a deal! She gets a hold of 3 of the 4 members and they're into the idea. But Derrick is elusive. She tracks him down at work and he is very against the idea. She takes some time and comes back with a deal - if he does the reunion show, she'll help him with the community center variety show. Oh also if you don't do this, everyone I work with will lose their jobs. He says ok if you can help boost ticket sales for the community center and help the kids prepare, he MIGHT be in. It's Marvel Monday and reality itself is at stake! ABOUT DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Doctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl who can travel across multiverses, to battle other-universe versions of himself which threaten to wipe out the multiverse. They seek help from the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS 2022 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Director: Sam Raimi Writers: Michael Waldron, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch Benedict Wong as Wong Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez Rachel McAdams as Dr. Christine Palmer BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS The movie kicks off with a demon chasing a girl named America Chavez. A variant of Doctor Strange shows up searching for the Book of Vishanti. Doctor Strange is killed and America accidentally creates a portal to our Doctor Strange's universe. While at Christine's wedding, Strange sees a monster attack happening. So he goes and rescues this girl who he remembered from his dream. America explains that the beings are hunting her because she has the power to travel through the multiverse, but is unable to consciously control it. Doctor Strange goes to talk to Wanda about these demons but realizes that she is actually responsible for the attacks. She acquired the Darkhold and is now going full Scarlet Witch. Wanda believes that taking America's powers and traveling through the multiverse will allow her to reunite with Billy and Tommy, the kids she created. When Strange refuses to surrender America, Wanda shows up and starts killing sorcerers. Scared, America accidentally transports the two of them to another Earth. Wanda uses the Darkhold to "dreamwalk", taking control of her Earth-838 counterpart who lives a suburban life with her own Billy and Tommy. Doctor Strange and America are captured by this Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, Karl Mordo, and brought before the Illuminati, to help decide what to do with them. They explain that through reckless use of their universe's Darkhold in an attempt to defeat Thanos, Earth-838's Strange triggered a universe-destroying "incursion". After defeating Thanos, the Illuminati executed their Strange to prevent him from causing more harm. So they're finding it hard to trust our Doctor Strange. Wanda shows up and kills all the Illuminati except Mordo. Doctor Strange helps free America with the help of this Earth's Christine. The three of them go to find the Book of Vishanti, which holds the secret to free them of the Darkhold, but Wanda appears and destroys it. She then takes over America's mind and uses her powers to send Doctor Strange and Christine to a universe wasteland. Our Doctor Strange defeats the destroyed universe's Doctor Strange, who has been corrupted by his Darkhold, and then uses that Darkhold to dreamwalk. With Wong's help, Doctor Strange saves America from Wanda and encourages her to use her abilities. America goes to find Wanda where she sees Wanda's kids crying for their real mom. Realizing she goofed, Wanda gives up and uses her powers to bring down all copies of the Darkhold throughout the multiverse and sacrifices herself in the process. Everyone returns to their own universes except America who stays to train with Doctor Strange who now has a third eye. We then see Doctor Strange be approached by a mystery person who warns that his actions have triggered an incursion that he must help repair and he follows her into that universe. We're back with some more Gilmore Girls! Join us in this journey on social media - @gilmorethemerrierpod. ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 15) A suspicious Lorelai catches Jess in Rory's room and accuses him of stealing a bracelet and Luke impulsively decides to buy the building where he lives. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 15) February 26, 2002 | The WB CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 15) Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore BRAN'S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 15) SYNOPSIS Lorelai was cleaning her gutters when she hurt her hand. She slapped a Band-Aid on it and refuses to go to the doctor. They get to Luke's, but Luke is nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, Caesar is cooking. So Lorelai heads upstairs to check on Luke and encourage him to come down and make them pancakes. The place is a mess because Jess's mom finally sent the rest of his stuff, and now Luke can't find his supply ledger. Lorelai finds it and holds it hostage until he comes downstairs to make the pancakes. That night, Lorelai and Rory are walking to get supplies for movie night. They pass Luke's and see him sitting there alone, sadly drinking a beer and watching TV on his tiny television. He just needs some space from Jess. Lorelai encourages him to get a bigger apartment, but Luke isn't having it. Instead, he asks if Jess could clean Lorelai's gutters for her. Lorelai doesn't say yes right away, but on the walk home Rory says, "I thought you were going to give Jess a chance. You should hire him." After a little more guilt-tripping, Lorelai finally agrees. Then she asks Rory why it's so important that she like Jess. Rory comes up with an excuse, but Lorelai is wise to her. Luke heads upstairs and freaks out on Jess over the mess. He shouts, "WE'RE MOVING TOMORROW!" After looking at apartments, Jess goes to Rory's to get started on the gutters. Cool-guy Jess flips her a book when she opens the door and comments that her hair is different. Lorelai tries to make small talk with him, but he's not having it. When he goes outside, Rory follows him and asks him to try to get along with her mom. He's like, "Why?" She says, "If you care about me at all, you'll try." He replies, "Who says I care about you?" Classic Jess. Rory leaves to hang out with Dean at a book fundraiser. Dean is bored out of his mind. He says he wants to go see The Lord of the Rings again, which annoys Rory. Then he notices she isn't wearing the bracelet he gave her. She lies and says she took it off because of a rash and will put it back on later. In reality, she lost it... and Jess is holding it hostage. Lorelai invites Jess downstairs for lunch. At first he says no, but then he remembers what Rory asked him and decides to make an effort. Just then, Rory comes bursting through the door, freaking out because she's lost the bracelet. Luke calls Lorelai to complain about the injustices of renting. He says he needs a second opinion and asks her to come look at an apartment with him. She immediately leaves work. The apartment is really nice. Lorelai tells him, "Even if Jess goes home someday, you're still going to want this place. What if you meet someone?" She finally talks him into it... but then they discover the worst possible news: Taylor owns the building. Luke is immediately out. Taylor runs after him and says he's thinking about buying the flower shop next to the diner, but he needs Luke to take down the old hardware store sign because it confuses people. Luke says, "It was my dad's. I'm not taking it down," and storms off. Rory gets home, still upset about losing the bracelet. She talks to Jess about it, and he casually suggests she look in her room one more time. She walks in and immediately finds it under her bed. There it is. Lorelai goes outside to pay Jess for the job, but instead accuses him of stealing the bracelet because she caught him leaving Rory's room about 30 minutes before it mysteriously reappeared. Jess denies it. She says, "Don't 'whatever' me, you little jerk!"—like the uncle in Home Alone. She lectures him, saying that taking the bracelet only hurt Rory because it's the most precious thing she owns. Jess fires back, "If it's the most precious thing she owns, why did it take her two weeks to notice it was gone?" Yeah... I wouldn't start calling him "son" just yet. He storms off. Luke comes banging on the door, still fuming about Taylor. He reveals that, in a fit of blind rage, he bought the building that houses the diner. Lorelai tells him that honestly, owning the building isn't such a bad thing, and she talks him off the ledge. Before he leaves, she asks Luke if Jess ever talks to him about Rory. Luke says, "I don't know... but that would be great. She'd be such a good influence on him." Luke heads home, grabs a sledgehammer, knocks a giant hole through the apartment wall, and tells Jess... "That's your room." Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Email bran@deckthehallmark.com Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. It's Marvel Monday and the multiverse breaks open! ABOUT SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, Peter asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME December 17, 2021 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Director: Jon Watts Writers: Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Stan Lee Cast: Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Zendaya as MJ Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin Alfred Molina as Dr. Otto Octavius/Doc Ock Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS If you recall the end of our last Spidey movie, Quentin Beck exposed Peter Parker as Spider-Man and framed him for his murder. Naturally, Peter's life is thrown into chaos. The Department of Damage Control, something I'm almost positive doesn't actually exist but how can you know, interrogates Peter, MJ, Ned, and Aunt May. Their attorney, Daredevil, gets the charges dismissed. Despite his legal victory, the public turns on him. Feeling bad about screwing up his friends' future, Peter asks Dr. Strange to cast a spell that will make the world forget he's Spider-Man. But Peter keeps interrupting the spell to add people he doesn't want to forget, causing it to go nuts and pull visitors from across the multiverse into their reality. Peter goes to talk to the MIT admissions person but ends up being greeted by Doctor Octopus who seems to know a lot about him despite Peter never meeting him before. Peter learns that the spell has summoned people who know Spider-Man's secret identity from across the multiverse. Strange tasks Peter, MJ, and Ned with capturing the interdimensional visitors, leading them to capture Electro, Sandman, the Lizard, and Norman Osborn. Peter soon realizes that each villain was pulled from their universe moments before their death and believes they deserve a chance at redemption instead of being sent back to die. Defying Strange, Peter steals the spell that would send everyone back to their own dimension and begins developing cures for the villains using Stark technology. Peter successfully restores Doctor Octopus, but Norman's Green Goblin persona takes over once again, convincing the other villains to turn on Peter. This leads to a massive battle that fatally injures Aunt May. Before she dies, she reminds Peter that "with great power, there must also come great responsibility," leaving him devastated and questioning whether he made the right choice. Ned unexpectedly discovers he can use Strange's sling ring to open portals. While searching for Peter, he and MJ instead find two alternate Spider-Men from different universes. Maybe you've seen them before in other movies?! I dunno. The three Peters unite and create cures for each enemy and lure them to the Statue of Liberty for one final showdown. It works! But rifts open across the multiverse. Realizing there is only one solution, Peter asks Strange to cast a new spell that erases Peter Parker from everyone's memory. The spell saves the multiverse, sending everyone back to their own universes. Peter visits MJ and Ned, intending to remind them who he is, but decides not to disrupt the new lives they've built. After paying his respects at Aunt May's grave and sharing a quiet moment with Happy Hogan, Peter embraces a fresh start. Now completely anonymous, he creates a new homemade Spider-Man suit and swings back into the city, beginning the next chapter of his life as a true friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Before they leave, Paris asks Rory to hang out and celebrate but she can't, which really upsets Paris if you can believe it. Sherry pulls Lorelai aside and is like you don't have to get to know me. Just because we've both had a relationship with Christopher doesn't mean we have to be friends. But she really wants to get to know Rory and asks if they can hang out tonight even though it's Friday night dinner. Lorelai is like uhhh sure. Lorelai talks to Rory and Rory says she's fine hanging out with Sherry. Lorelai asks if Christopher wants to come to dinner and he's like it's good grub, why not. Before they can get back to the serious convo, Rory has to run out to watch and make sure the plan to get Lane her CD works, including Kirk stopping Mrs. Kim to talk and Michel jogging by and dropping the CD in the bag. Back at Luke's, Sherry and Christopher come by to say goodbye. Sherry leaves to say goodbye to Rory and Christopher apologizes to Lorelai for last night. Lorelai says I realized something last night - all these years, I always had you in the back of my mind. The prospect of us being together. I think I subconsciously sabotaged every relationship I've ever been in because I knew you were always there. Now that I know you're not, I can move on. Believe it or not, Christopher doesn't handle that well. He says don't put that on me. You're dumping 15 years of being unhappy on me. Don't blame me. It's Marvel Monday and we're meeting the Eternals! ABOUT ETERNALS The saga of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR ETERNALS November 5, 2021 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF ETERNALS Director: Chloé Zhao Writers: Chloé Zhao, Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo Cast: Gemma Chan as Sersi Richard Madden as Ikaris Angelina Jolie as Thena Salma Hayek as Ajak Kit Harington as Dane Whitman Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo Lia McHugh as Sprite Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos Lauren Ridloff as Makkari Barry Keoghan as Druig Ma Dong-seok as Gilgamesh Harish Patel as Karun Bill Skarsgård as Kro Harry Styles as Eros BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS This movie starts off with too many words. But no fun music like Star Wars, so I didn't read it. Cut to a triangle flying close to something that looks like the sun. Inside, these folks in funny robes stand back against a wall when a voice says it is time. This gold stuff turns into their suits. Apparently they don't know each other. It's 5000 BC in Mesopotamia and a crazy sea monster eats this kid's dad. Suddenly, this superhero flies in and takes that monster down. We see the other heroes take down other monsters. We got a group of 10 superheroes on our hands. They stand in V formation and wait for the people to thank them. One of the heroes leans down and hands a kid a knife. Here's who we have: Ikaris: basically Superman Sersi: can like mess with matter Thena: creates a weapon out of pure cosmic energy Kingo: laser fingers Phastos: creates advanced weapons and technology Makkari: basically the Flash Druig: mind control Gilgamesh: Hulk but not green Sprite: can change the appearance of things and appears as a child Ajak: the spiritual leader and healer who serves as the primary communicator with their Celestial creator Cut to present day and that knife is in a museum as an artifact that shaped history. The Eternals are still alive, cuz they're eternal. Sersi and Sprite live together in London. Ikaris left her without explanation centuries earlier. She's moved on and is now in a relationship with human Dane. When the trio is attacked by a monster like in the beginning. They're called Deviants. Ikaris arrives just in time to save the day. The Eternals were under the assumption there were no more Deviants. Which is why the Eternals haven't been in action for the past 500 years. We see a flashback of when Sersi and Ikaris got together…and I mean got together. #NotMyMarvel. They end up getting married. Back in the present, the 3 Eternals make it to South Dakota expecting to meet up with Ajak, only to find her dead. So it's time to get the band back together to figure out what to do next. Sersi is the new leader and meets with Arishem - the Celestial that sent the Eternals to Earth. Sersi learns that the Eternals' mission was actually to prepare Earth for the Emergence of a new Celestial. See, for millions of years, he has been planting Celestial seeds inside planets where the energy from large populations allows new Celestials to be born. The Deviants were sent to destroy the apex predators of each planet to ensure the development of intelligent life, but the Deviants evolved and started eating said intelligent life. So he created the Eternals to fight them. Now that the population of humans has reached the necessary size to allow the new Celestial to be born, Earth will be no more. Sersi doesn't love this and tells everyone else. Everyone is down to stop the plan. Everyone except for Ikaris. We find out that Ajak wanted to stop the Emergence and save humanity, so he led her to the Deviants and allowed them to kill her. Sprite joins Ikaris cuz she's in love with Ikaris while Kingo chooses to leave, agreeing with Ikaris but not wanting to hurt his friends.
