It's Tuesday which means there's a new Hallmark movie to review! ABOUT SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS A ski lodge owner faces financial ruin and possible loss of his family's mountain retreat. As he grapples with mounting debt, a savvy hotel executive arrives to assess the property, setting the stage for an unexpected holiday adventure. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS July 18, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF SNOWBOUND FOR THE HOLIDAYS Director: Christopher Giroux Writers: Courtney McAllister, Tim Stubinski Cast: Vanessa Lengies as Cassidy Evergreen Marcus Rosner as Trey Sanderson BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Trey Sanderson runs a ski lodge but still finds time to get out there on the slopes. Trey is a unique fella who still prefers to listen to his tunes with a Walkman and crappy headphones. We then meet Cassidy Evergreen who helps run hotels with her bossy mom. She wants to be VP of Operations. Her mom is like nah. You don't have what it takes. You're not tough enough. Plus, she spends money on custom ornaments. That's not what executives do. Cassidy says well how about I go assess a property and show you I have what it takes to make big decisions. Of course, that property happens to be a certain ski lodge. Trey's father-in-law, Sam, who Trey runs the lodge with, tells him that he's ready to retire and he thinks they should consider selling to a dude named Asherton. Trey isn't having it. He's not ready to give up on this place. Cassidy shows up and checks in and is immediately charmed by Trey's daughter, Lilly. Speaking of Trey, the lights flicker and he ends up bumping into Cassidy, spilling her hot chocolate all over the floor. Talk about a meet cute! It doesn't take Cassidy long to realize that this place is struggling. The snowmobiles aren't working. And to make matters worse, the power goes out. And we're only a few days from Christmas Fest! Trey realizes who Cassidy is and is quickly annoyed by how much she pipes in with her thoughts and opinions. She overhears him talking to Sam about how he doesn't want to sell. She says I want to help you save your lodge by making Christmas Fest bigger and better than ever and maybe get it into some new technology in the process. She starts opening up to him about how she feels like her mom doesn't really believe in her. And he opens up to her about the loss of his wife. She tells him that if he does need to sell, he could also work into the deal that he needs to stay on and keep the staff. They go out tubing together and when they get back to the lodge, she's shocked to see that her mom showed up. Clearly she doesn't trust her to do this on her own! Her mom hears about what she's doing and tells her if you're banking on Christmas Fest saving the day, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Turns out, her mom actually went to the lodge as a kid, every year for 10 years. That explains why she and Sam were flirty flirty the night before. After dancing to some music on his tape player the night before she's supposed to leave, they end up ALMOSTTTT kissing, but are interrupted by his daughter. They go to a Christmas lantern event and almost kiss again. They say their goodbyes and it's very sweet but she ends up missing her flight! So she gets to stay a little longer which gives her this idea - Evergreen should buy the lodge. She knows that this Asherton guy is a bad guy. Before she can talk to them, Asherton shows up and is like the mountain is mine baby! Cassidy runs in and is like no it's not, cuz we just bought it! Trey does not take any of this well. She goes after him and is like I know it looks like I went behind your back but I promise we just wanted to save the lodge. But Trey isn't having it and storms off, saying she obviously only cares about trying to get a promotion. She needs to find him to talk to him but he's on the slopes. So she has to conquer her fear of skiing and find him. She crashes into him and they laugh. She pitches what their plan really is which honestly sounds like a really bad business plan for the Evergreen family. The deal is a go! And Cassidy is going to stay!!! And they end up kisssingggggg! It's another throwback to a heartwarming 90s Christmas classic thanks to Ry-Guy! ABOUT SANTA AND PETE It's the first Christmas without Grandma and a difficult time for the family, until Grandpa (James Earl Jones) decides to share a story with his ten-year-old grandson Terence. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR SANTA AND PETE December 5, 1999 | CBS CAST & CREW OF SANTA AND PETE Director: Duwayne Dunham Writers: Greg Taylor, Christopher Moore, Pamela Johnson Cast: James Earl Jones as Grandpa Nicholas Hume Cronyn as Saint Nick Flex Alexander as Pete BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS The movie kicks off with Santa doing Santa stuff. Checking that list twice. Looking at a globe to see if anything's changed. You know the stuff. We meet Grandpa Nicolas decorating his house for the first Christmas since his wife passed away. His daughter Cassie shows up with her husband James and son Terence and they all start to decorate the tree. Little Terence pulls out a Santa ornament. Grandpa insists there's one more ornament in there that goes with Santa. Sure enough, there is one more ornament of some random dude. Terence is like who is this? Grandpa Nicolas is like well have I got a story for you. Before Santa was Santa, he was Saint Nicolas, a Christian Bishop and Patron Saint of Children who would travel around, giving presents to children. One day he is arrested by the Spanish government who suspect he is actually a spy and their concerns only grow when they discover that he carries around a book called The Book of Life that has a ton of names in it and stuff about each of those people. Gotta be honest...sounds like a spy. While in jail, he meets a guy named Peter who is shocked when this old dude knows his name and knows that he wants to travel the world. When Pete finds out that he's St. Nicolas, they spend the night talking, and Pete decides to bust St. Nick out. They become partners and years later they decide to head to the New World. Before they leave they are approached by a dude who wants them to find someone named Elizabeth Van Olden to give her an engagement ring and a promise to join her as soon as he can. Santa and Pete are shocked to find out that the New World is not the perfect paradise they had heard about. People are too busy to celebrate Christmas and there's hostility between the settlers and the Native Americans. There's no open lodging for the famous Santa and Pete, so they're forced to sleep in a barn for the night where they find a little girl named Marlene. She tells them that she lost her parents while they were building a cabin in the woods. Santa promises that they'll find her parents and Pete is like whoa that's a big promise. Santa and Pete meet with the governor to ask for help finding Marlene's parents. He tells them that the Native Americans took them and he's planning an attack. So that's not great. On Christmas Eve, they travel by carriage and reindeer to go visit the Dangola family, including Janet who Pete thinks is FINEEEEE. On the way back, they are stopped by the Native Americans. They say they've been waiting for the man with the white beard to fulfill the prophecy. Santa requests they return Marlene's parents and they give Santa a bright red coat. Santa and Pete begin delivering presents and find that the village boot boy has made Nick some black leather boots. Arriving at the governor's house they realize there are no traditional wooden clogs to put gifts in and end up going down the chimney and leaving gifts in stockings instead. They also meet the governor's maid, who turns out to be Elizabeth Van Olden, and after giving her the engagement ring she gives Nick a bright red hat. Returning to the Dangola house, the Native Americans appear with Marlene's parents. The snow starts to come down super heavy and they're now unable to navigate the snow in their carriage. Maria's husband, Big Manuel, replaces the wheels with runners, transforming it into a sleigh, now with 6 reindeer. As Santa and Pete leave, the sleigh suddenly lifts into the sky and they fly away into the night. Back in the present, Terence wakes up in the middle of the night and finds that the Book of Life is in the living room. He finds his name inside and finds out that he is related to Pete. But when he tries to tell Grandpa Nicolas, the book disappears and he cannot remember anything he read. Classic Santa. He has been cleaning house at the Vero Beach contest every year, but it's time for him to go home to Cannon Cove and return to his roots. It might be a smaller competition, but it'll just be nice to go home. Marley is an overworked mom. Her daughter Lily is over it. But it's not just her mom that's a workaholic. Her ex-husband is supposed to take Lily to Cannon Cove for a week, but he has a big work thing come up, so he asks Marley to take a couple of days off until he can get up there. She reluctantly agrees. If I have to spend time with my daughter, I have to spend time with my daughter. They get to the rental, and the water isn't working, so they have to call a plumber. She can tell that her daughter is distracted by something, but she won't say what. The plumber shows up, and he's so much hotter than her ex-husband, it's insane. His name is Adam Sullivan, and it turns out he's not a plumber. He's just the neighbor next door who happened to have a toolbox in the bed of his pickup truck. Lily meets Adam's niece, and they bond over their love of art, and she invites her to hang out with some friends. Marley decides to sign her and her daughter up for the sandcastle competition. She goes out to practice, and it's harder than she thought it would be. When she sees how good Adam is at building his castle, she asks if he'll help them get ready for the competition. He gives them a lesson, and they come up with a name - Last One Sanding - and also ask Paige to join their team too. For round one, they decide to go bold with the Eiffel Tower because Lily says since my parents keep promising to take me and never do, this might be the only way I see it. It's not going well, so Adam decides to take them to fly a kite. It's competition time, and they don't quite move on. But they find contraband in one of the other castles, which disqualifies that castle. So they move on!!!! Adam and Marley keep hanging out more, he keeps convincing her not to pick up her phone, and they end up kissing big times. She decides she's going to quit her job and go back into residential architecture all thanks to Adam as her inspiration. It's scary though. There's a lot of financial risk there. Luckily for her, her ex-husband offers to buy a chunk of her ownership in their joint business. They're building their championship build - the pyramids. Our guy Gordo isn't concerned. BUT HE SHOULD BE! Cuz he loses. But Last One Sanding doesn't win either. But they do get honorable mention! Adam and Marley talk and decide it's best if they break things off now since it's clearly not going to work with them not living close. But with the help of HER EX-HUSBAND, he decides to shoot his shot and move to Seattle to be close to her. They kiss some more! Chloe Barlow is an up-and-coming songwriter, and she's pumped that James Robert Webb has picked her song to be his first single. This is her big break! Except... bad news. They've changed producers, and not only is her song no longer the first single, but it's not even going to be on the album anymore. She's devastated. To take her mind off things, she heads to a children's hospital to sing Christmas songs for some of the patients. There she meets a young girl named Amberlee, who immediately takes a liking to Chloe and her music. Her dad, Devin, on the other hand? He thinks songs are dumb. But when he sees how much Chloe's music means to Amberlee, he softens and tells her he hopes she'll come back and sing again sometime. Meanwhile, the music publishing company Chloe works for is struggling and turns to Devin's company for help. When Devin and his team look at the numbers, it seems like the obvious move is to shut the company down. But Devin takes a liking to Chloe and fights to find a way to turn things around instead. As they spend more time together, Chloe grows closer to Amberlee, helping her write a song, teaching her how to pray away stage fright, and encouraging her to perform at the Christmas talent show. Devin eventually invites Chloe to participate in a songwriting session with his team as a team-building exercise. To everyone's surprise, they love it. They're like, "Wait... this is awesome. Maybe this could actually be your thing." Then, at a Christmas party, the big singer himself drops a bombshell: "I recorded your song after all." Chloe is on cloud nine. She goes to the site of the explosion and sees Fern is there. She fears that Cliff is dead. Back in the present, Sam and Del see the gang show up with a bloody Elliot and call 911. Fern and Kat go back to her place and she tells Kat that she's pregnant with Cliff's baby. Apparently, they found his hat down there, so we all know what that means. Fern says she wants to jump. Luckily for her, they go back a day. She goes inside to talk to Cliff. She tells him that she's pregnant and tells him to try not to be a hero tonight. Maybe that'll be enough to keep him from going to the mines. Fern then opens up to Kat about her brother, how he time traveled and died. Fern isn't gonna time travel anymore. She's gonna raise her child. Grayson comes over and shows Fern that Lingermore belongs to the Landrys. Fern says burn this deed. The only place the Landrys belong is on this farm. Apparently, Elliot made it through surgery. Jacob says he's going to jump and hopefully show up in the '20s and tell Kat. Alice jumps and finds Tessa burying that suitcase and she tells Alice about why she's jumping - she saw that Griff could time travel and she sees it as her way out. Tough go of it. Jacob jumps back and makes up with Abby. Fern and Kat say their goodbyes and Kat jumps. Alice goes to jump when old Fern shows up and says I've always known who you are and you're a hero and they hug. Kat shows back up to present day and she and Elliot, who is totally fine btw, kiss big ones. Apparently Nick is coming back to town to try to convince Del to sell the boat. Kat has that reel from Coyle's. They wonder how it ended up back here with that clip split. Alice wonders if Tessa is responsible for it. Jacob goes to talk to Mr. Goodwin and they call a truce. Kat has started to write the family history, and tries to figure out why Fern knew about Jacob but the lore never passed down to Colton. Alice goes outside to talk to Max and he's like YOU WROTE A SONG FOR ME I KNOW IT! She's like kindly shove off. Nick pops out of nowhere and is like hey maybe stop focusing on the past and focus on what's in front of you. She does not do that. Instead, she jumps again and ends up talking to an old Evelyn in a wheelchair watching old reels. Evelyn is not thrilled. She knows that everyone she knows is a time traveler and kept it from her. But she tells Alice that she lived a full life because of her. She traveled and lived a full life because she knew Alice. Back in the present, KC shows up out of nowhere and is like it's all my fault, I asked Sam to keep stuff from you. But I know how to fix this - they jump together and pop out at the evening of the summer kickoff, 1999. Time travel Colton is coming back to jump back into the pond and sees Del. They have a wonderful heart to heart and slow dance together. 5 more minutes. In the present day, Elliot proposes to Kat and she says yes. Alice snags her guitar and sings. Yay for them. Del comes back and sells the boat to Nick and she and Sam have a bit of a moment and she calls him a rascal. Alice and Max chat and apparently she broke up with her boyfriend. He says I'm proud of you. She says the song is about the type of love she wants and then they end up kissing and she says she thinks the road always leads to him. Nick was watching the whole time. He's like I'm excited to take Claire on this boat. She says will I ever meet Claire? He says maybe one day. Kat and Elliot are hanging out, looking at the clock. And Elliot rattles off a theory about how maybe his mom lives and that's how the clock ended up in the walls. Good enough for me. Jacob is talking to Alice about how he wished he had a good ring. Alice is like well I got this one. KC had it around their neck and they realize that KC must be Jacob & Abby's kid. They get married and everyone is there for it. And Kat and Alice celebrate by jumping in the pond again. Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? It's Marvel Monday and the Avengers face their ultimate challenge! ABOUT AVENGERS: ENDGAME After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME 2019 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF AVENGERS: ENDGAME Directors: Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Writers: Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Stan Lee Cast: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk Chris Hemsworth as Thor Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man Karen Gillan as Nebula Zoe Saldaña as Gamora Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS The movie kicks off by showing us what Hawkeye was doing during Infinity War: teaching his daughter to shoot bow and arrows. Suddenly, his wife and kids turn to dust and he has no idea why. 23 days later, Tony Stark & Nebula are stuck in space together. She's helping him heal. They're about to run out of oxygen when Captain Marvel shows up to save them. She brings them back to Earth where they're reunited with Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Rhodey & Rocket. The happy reunion doesn't last long. Tony does one of his famous freak outs, saying things he will most certainly regret. Captain Marvel gets the rundown & decides she's going to go kill Thanos herself. Everyone is like this witch shows up out of nowhere and now wants to be the hero, but Thor likes her and says we should go. So they track Thanos down. He's like oh hi. I destroyed the stones. My bad. So Thor cuts his head off. Fast forward 5 years and Scott randomly pops out of the quantum realm machine, very confused. So he goes to talk to the Avengers about his experience. He tells Cap & Natasha about how for him, the 5 years was only 5 minutes. Maybe there's some way to use the quantum realm to go back in time and stop Thanos. Only one guy is smart enough to help - Tony. But now Tony has a daughter & he's not interested in helping. But Tony can't forget about it. He pokes around and figures out how it could work. Scott, Cap, and Natasha turn to the next smartest guy they know - Bruce. He agrees to help and they do some experiments but nothing overly helpful. Tony shows up with a time traveling device and says it's time to get the band back together. They do some testing and find out they can go to the past and bring something back without changing anything. So they have a plan - team up and go get the stones and bring them to the present which would prevent Thanos from being able to do his thing. Banner, Lang, Rogers, and Stark travel back to New York during Loki's 2012 invasion. At the Sanctum Sanctorum, Banner persuades the Ancient One to hand over the Time Stone by promising that all of the Infinity Stones will eventually be returned to their rightful places in time. Plus, Doctor Strange gave it up willingly in his time which is good enough for the Ancient One. Meanwhile, at Stark Tower, Rogers successfully recovers the Mind Stone from Hydra agents posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives. However, Stark and Lang's plan to steal the Space Stone goes wrong, allowing Loki to escape with it. To recover from the setback, Rogers and Stark travel further back to 1970, where Stark obtains an earlier version of the Space Stone and unexpectedly gets the chance to speak with his father. Rogers steals additional Pym Particles needed for their return trip and catches a glimpse of his lost love, Peggy Carter. Meanwhile, Thor and Rocket journey to Asgard in 2013. Rocket extracts the Reality Stone from Jane Foster, while Thor reunites with his mother, Frigga, who snaps him out of his funk and gets his swag and his hammer back. In 2014, Nebula and Rhodey travel to Morag and secure the Power Stone before Peter Quill can retrieve it. Hawkeye and Black Widow head to Vormir, where Red Skull explains that the Soul Stone can only be obtained through the sacrifice of someone you love. Romanoff gives her life so Barton can claim the Stone. As Rhodes and Nebula prepare to return to the present, Nebula's cybernetic implants connect with those of her past self. This allows the 2014 version of Thanos to learn about his future defeat and the Avengers' plan to reverse it. Thanos captures Nebula and sends her 2014 counterpart into the future to infiltrate the Avengers and pave the way for his arrival. So they all return back in the present with the stones, sans Natasha. They put the stones on an iron glove and Bruce agrees that he's probably the best dude for the job. He snaps and immediately collapses. Hawkeye immediately gets a phone call from his wife. It worked!!! But the happiness doesn't last long because 2014 Gamora used the Time Machine to get 2014 Thanos to show up and shoot the Avengers compound up big time. He's like thanks for getting all of the stones together for me. It's giant fight time, folks. And it's not looking great for the Avengers despite the fact that Thor's hammer saw Cap as worthy enough to use it. But just when it's looking bleak, Doctor Strange returns by opening portals for the rest of the Avengers to show up and join the battle. Avengers assemble and IT'S AWESOME! It's a tough battle and Scott is busy getting his van Time Machine up and running since Thanos destroyed the other one so that they can return the stones. Captain Marvel shows up last minute and it's looking like they might do it but Thanos makes the van explode. Thanos gets the gauntlet back but Captain Marvel stops him from snapping his fingers. He's able to free himself. It's looking like a lost cause but Tony looks over at Strange who holds up 1 finger, showing Tony that this is the 1 in 14 million chances they win. Tony is able to get the stones and snap his fingers and make Thanos and his baddies disappear. But unfortunately the blast was too much for Tony and he dies. At Tony's funeral, all the Avengers show up to show their respects. They create a new Time Machine and Captain America goes to return all of the stones to their proper time. But he doesn't return to present day. Well, he does but he's old. He decided to stay in 1970 and grow old with Peggy Carter. Steve gives Sam his shield. We have a new Captain America now. We're back with some more Gilmore Girls! Join us in this journey on social media - @gilmorethemerrierpod. ABOUT: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 8) Longtime friends Lorelai and Sookie have their first fight when Lorelai decides that their shared dream of opening an inn is doomed to failure. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 8) November 20, 2001 | The WB CAST & CREW OF: GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 8) Lauren Graham as Lorelai Gilmore Alexis Bledel as Rory Gilmore BRAN'S GILMORE GIRLS (SEASON 2 EPISODE 8) SYNOPSIS It's Friday night dinner, and Rory agrees to pose for a painting. Apparently it's a family tradition, despite the fact that Lorelai's portrait was never finished. The next day, Lorelai is chatting with Luke about business. Apparently he's a big business boy. She and Sookie want to make the leap and open their own inn. They're still early in the process, trying to figure out how to buy that property she found with Luke's ex, Rachel. Taylor is shocked when he walks up to Luke's and sees police tape and a chalk outline on the ground. WTF is that about?! Lorelai and Sookie find out that the owner of the property is the sweet old lady who runs the bakery, Fran. They go talk to her, but she says she can't sell it. It's the last thing she has left, and she just can't let it go. Taylor calls the police, and they come down and are like, “We have no idea what this is.” Taylor says, “I've got a dead body outside my store!” The cop replies, “No, everyone is accounted for. It must just be a prank.” That's when Rory, who has just walked up to the growing crowd, sees Jess looking on with a smirk. That darn prankster. The owner of the Independence Inn is in town! Mia lovessss Lorelai and Rory, and they spend the day together. After hanging out with Mia, Lorelai begins to feel bad about potentially leaving both Mia and the inn. Taylor figures out that Jess was behind the prank, so they throw an emergency town meeting to discuss what to do about him. They conveniently forget to tell Luke, but he walks in anyway and gives the whole town a piece of his mind. After the meeting, Lorelai finally tells Mia about her plans, and Mia handles it great. So great, in fact, that Mia reveals she wants to sell the inn. This causes one of Lorelai's classic overthinking freakouts. She tells Sookie they should just press pause on the inn idea. It's never going to work out. Then she really lays into Sookie: you're too disorganized, you're not ready, this is a mess. Sookie storms off. Rory bumps into Jess and tells him that he's making Luke's life harder. The whole town is coming down on Luke because of him, and it's not fair. Jess is like, “Yeah, but did you think it was funny?” They start getting a little flirty when Dean suddenly appears. Jess is like, “Oh... boyfriend? You didn't mention that.” Awkwarddddd. Lorelai and Rory show up for Friday night dinner, and Emily proudly unveils the new painting. But Lorelai is still in a bad mood. She tells her mom what's going on—how Mia came back into town and completely threw her off. And, surprisingly, that throws Emily off too. Lorelai starts to feel really bad about her freakout. She realizes she was just overwhelmed by everything they were trying to do. After talking it over with Luke, she goes to apologize to Sookie. Emily shows up at the inn to meet Mia. She tells her she wishes she had encouraged Lorelai to come home. But also... “Do you happen to have any pictures?” The episode ends at Luke's. Rory watches as Luke realizes that Jess secretly fixed the toaster. The two of them share a smile. Uh oh. It's Marvel Monday and meet Marvel's most powerful hero! ABOUT CAPTAIN MARVEL Carol Danvers becomes one of the universe's most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR CAPTAIN MARVEL March 8, 2019 | Theatrical Release CAST & CREW OF CAPTAIN MARVEL Directors: Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck Writers: Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Geneva Robertson-Dworet Cast: Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS Carol Danvers is living her best amnesia life on the Kree homeworld of Hala under the name Vers. Got it? Good. She's got superpowers, cool space suits, and a mentor named Yon-Rogg who constantly tells her to stop feeling. The Kree government, which is basically run by a giant AI lady, insists that the evil shape-shifting Skrulls ruined her life and since Carol remembers absolutely nothing, so she just rolls with it. While on a mission to rescue a Kree spy, things immediately go sideways. The Skrulls capture Carol and start digging around in her memories, discovering that she used to be an Air Force pilot on Earth. Their leader Talos becomes very interested in a scientist named Dr. Wendy Lawson and a mysterious light-speed engine. Carol escapes before they get all the answers and crash-lands straight into a Blockbuster Video in 1995 Los Angeles. Her arrival gets the attention of a young Nick Fury, who still has two working eyes and spends most of this movie being confused. After a series of chases, explosions, and Skrulls impersonating anyone they want, Carol starts uncovering pieces of her past. She learns that she wasn't born on Hala at all—she was an Air Force pilot presumed dead after a crash years earlier. As Carol & Nick follow the breadcrumbs, she reconnects with her old friend Maria and Maria's daughter Monica, who are understandably shocked to discover their dead friend is actually a space superhero. Meanwhile, Talos finally reveals that the Skrulls aren't conquering villains at all—they're refugees looking for a home. Turns out the Kree may not have been entirely honest. The biggest bombshell comes when Carol remembers what really happened. Dr. Lawson was actually Mar-Vell, a Kree scientist secretly helping the Skrulls. Shes killed while taking control of an experimental energy source. Carol destroyed the engine to keep it from the Kree, absorbed its energy in the explosion, gained incredible powers, and then had her memories erased so the Kree could turn her into a weapon. The gang tracks down Mar-Vell's hidden space laboratory, where a bunch of Skrull refugees have been hiding. Unfortunately, Starforce shows up, the Kree try to reassert control, and Carol gets dragged before the Supreme Intelligence. She destroys the device limiting her powers and finally goes full Captain Marvel. What follows is a one-sided beatdown thanks to Captain marvel. With the Skrulls safe for the moment, Carol decides to head off into space to help them find a permanent home. Before leaving, she gives Fury a special pager for emergencies. Fury later loses his eye in an incident involving Goose - a cat who is actually an alien who is also holding the Tesseract in its tummy. Looking at Carol's old Air Force call sign, he lands on the perfect name: The Avengers Initiative. In the mid-credits scene, the pager goes off and Carol returns to Earth Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show? Ryan joins us this week to head back to the pond for another episode of The Way Home. ABOUT: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 8) As Kat works to piece together what lies ahead, Elliot tries to learn more about Tessa as he does his best to reconnect with his mum. AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 8) June 7, 2026 | Hallmark Channel CAST & CREW OF: THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 8) Chyler Leigh as Kat Landry Evan Williams as Elliot Augustine Sadie Laflamme as Alice Dhawan Andie MacDowell as Del Landry BRAN'S THE WAY HOME (SEASON 4 EPISODE 8) SYNOPSIS The episode starts right back in 1925, Elliot clearly staying back on purpose. He goes to tell his mom that he's staying and she's unimpressed. She's leaving there soon and she's not letting him change her plan. Cliff comes by and Fern tells him that Elliot's name is Tom Buchanan. Cliff tells Fern it was nice seeing her on his porch again. Elliot decides he's going to join the family business. Back in the present day, Kat is having a really hard time with the fact that Elliot clearly saw this picture of himself in the paper and didn't tell her. Del is like well before you jump to conclusions, wait until you can talk to him. Back in the '20s, Elliot plays the piano so that Cliff and Fern can dance. He sings Time After Time. Tessa shows up and it's time to answer some questions. She jumped with Griff and showed up in 1882. She got sick. So Griff came back to get some medicine but never returned. Elliot brings up the letter she sent to Vic but she doesn't know what letter he's talking about. He's like why would someone think you're dead? Back in the present, Jacob and Abby kiss big ones. Things are getting serious between them. At a party, the reel starts playing but Kat and Alice notice that someone cut Kat out of the reel. They theorize that Evelyn must've cut the reel which would mean she knows that Alice is a time traveler. So she jumps in to talk to her. She sees that Del is pregnant! Speaking of jumping, Kat ended up jumping and goes to talk to Elliot and he's thrilled to see her. He apologizes to her for not telling her about the newspaper. He says it's his fate though, not hers. Kat gives Tessa a piece of her mind for leaving Elliot behind. She'd never leave Alice behind. And it's clear Tessa knows Alice right away. Abby comes over for dinner and it gets real awkward when she talks about how farm life isn't for her and that her life is still in Toronto. Alice is hanging out with Evelyn. Evelyn begins to question her. Why hasn't she gotten older? What's her story?! Bad news - turns out Cliff isn't leaving town for a big award. He's actually trying to capture the big fish! Fern and Kat go to warn Elliot and Tessa but it's too late. The feds are here! Cliff has them good as caught but when Fern shows up, he lets them go cuz he loves herrrrrr. The next day, Kat and Elliot listen in as Fern basically tells Cliff that she loves him and they....hug big ones? Kat and Elliot go to leave, expecting Tessa to come with. She's like nah. Elliot says I'll come back New Year's Eve. Come find me. Sam tells Del that he knows about the pond. The episode ends with Kat and Elliot back home. They figure out a code that Fern uses in the newspaper to help with the bootlegging. The code says that 5 people went into the tunnel, but only 4 people came out. Did Elliot invite his mom to her death?! Watch the show on Youtube - www.deckthehallmark.com/youtubeInterested in advertising on the show?
