Sluffer

In the summer of 1983, my friend Rick and I each took three and a half grams of magic mushrooms. We recorded hours of nonsense on to a cassette recorder in my bedroom. So I decided to explore that teenage trip by taking some mushrooms and listening to the audio. Here is that day, interpreted through the wonder of analog magnetic tape and a higher state of consciousness. The world can be a very strange place when you are just a nine year old boy, especially if family acts unaccordingly. From wonderment to wicked games, let the adolescent shit show begin. 

I recently stumbled upon some short stories I wrote about 20 years ago. It fascinates me how much truth is peppered throughout the fictional attempt. It's a peek into the foggy remembrances of a confident narrative. It is honest, a little mendacious, and all mine...
