Description: Spanish 201 is the third course in a four-semester beginning language sequence. The prerequisite for Spanish 201 is Spanish 102, otherwise enrollment in this course is determined by placement or transfer credits only. COURSE OBJECTIVES: This course will be conducted in Spanish with a student-centered approach that aims at giving you many opportunities to interact in the target language during class session. Required use of Multimedia CD-ROM will facilitate your comprehension of the Spanish language and cultures. 1.Provide opportunities for students to build oral, written and reading skills. 2.Improve listening and speaking proficiency through constant student/instructor interaction in Spanish. 3.Foster an appreciation for the diversity of peoples and cultures in the Spanish-speaking world.
