CBS lawyers ordered Stephen Colbert to cancel a live interview with Texas State House member and Democratic Senate candidate James Tallarico, citing pressure from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and a newly threatened expansion of the equal time rule to late night entertainment programming. Colbert filmed the interview anyway in front of his live studio audience, then was told he could not air it, could not mention it, and could not even show a photo of James Tallarico during the broadcast. The other mission for Gary was to meet Baymax, which took a couple of tries, but he got there in the end. The true highlight of the weekend, however, was running the half marathon side by side with his best friend while his wife cheered them on from the sidelines. Carla Rockmore is a fashion influencer and designer. She began her career in retail before transitioning into the design department, utilizing fundamental skills acquired during her fashion trade school education. Rockmore developed her creative vision across categories, designing everything from ladies' dresses for high-end department stores to licensed children's sleepwear for Disney. She pivoted into content creation during the pandemic, when she found herself in need of a creative outlet while all of her projects were on hold. Her career online started in her fifties, posting TikTok videos of herself getting ready in hopes of teaching other women how to express themselves through clothing.
