THE STEFANIE GASS SHOW - Clarity Coaching, Kingdom Entrepreneurs, Podcasting, Courses, Christian Business Coach

If you're searching  for "signs God wants me to start a podcast" or "should I start a podcast as a Christian woman", this episode directly answers that question. Have you had the nudge? The one that keeps coming back no matter how many times you set it down? Friend, that might not be your idea. That might be God. In this episode, I walk you through 5 specific signs that God is calling you to start a podcast, and why you need to stop dismissing the thing He keeps putting in front of you. The 5 Signs: the idea that won't leave you alone, the message you can't stop talking about, the call to serve without a platform, the story God gave you that was always meant to be shared, and the divine breadcrumbs that keep pointing you toward podcasting. Each sign is anchored in Scripture and practical truth for the Christian woman who is called but hesitant. This episode is for the woman who has been waiting for a burning bush when God has already been speaking. You don't need more confirmation. You need the courage to say yes to what He's already told you. I pray this is the episode that finally gets you off the fence and into obedience.   Ready to Make Consistent Income From a Podcast?  Join my 5-Day Profitable Podcast Bootcamp! Confession time. I was the kid with the "I am me, I'm ok" poster taped up in my room. I was desperate to feel confident and ok, and yeah, it's embarrassing, but it helped. My mom, who was a lot like Stuart Smalley (if you remember that SNL skit, the guy who looks in the mirror and reminds himself he's good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it, worthy), encouraged me to hang it up after a devastating seventh grade experience. My own personal Mean Girls encounter. I had just started at a new junior high, and it felt like every rule of friendship and belonging got flipped upside down overnight. Everyone I was friends with landed on the red team. I got placed on purple. I was shocked by how brutal girls I once called my besties could be. And while I found new friends eventually, something else took root first. A belief that I needed to change. That I needed to fix myself. That belief followed me for years. It played out in my first marriage, until I had a shocking awareness and awakening. There was never anything wrong with me. There was only the belief that I wasn't cool enough, smart enough, pretty enough, whatever word fits for you. This week's episode is all about that exact fallacy, the idea that you need to fix yourself.  My guest Leonard Jacobson has had nine awakenings, and what he shares about presence and the truth of who you are is something I wish my 13 year old self could've heard..  I hope this one helps you remember there's nothing in you to fix. Ever. Friend, you are good enough, smart enough, and worthy of everything you desire. You always were. Period. Bio Leonard Jacobson is an internationally recognized spiritual teacher, author, and founder of the Conscious Living Foundation. For more than four decades, he has taught a practical path of awakening based on Presence, self-awareness, and conscious living. Since his first awakening in 1981, Leonard has shared his teachings with thousands of people around the world through retreats, workshops, books, and online programs. He is the author of seven books, including Words from Silence, Embracing the Present, Bridging Heaven & Earth, Liberating Jesus, Life Beyond the Ego, and In Seach of the Light, a children's picture book. His books have been translated into numerous languages.   Key Topics Leonard Jacobson's awakening journey The nature of God and oneness Practices for awakening and presence The role of the ego in spiritual growth Revealing the truth about Jesus and Christ consciousness The importance of responsibility and self-awareness in awakening   About Leonard Jacobson Leonard Jacobson is an internationally recognized spiritual teacher, author, and founder of the Conscious Living Foundation. Stefanos Sifandos returns to the show six years after his first appearance, and this time the conversation goes straight to the bone. A behavioral scientist and relationship expert who's worked with Olympic gold medalists, world champion fighters, special forces operators, and high-performing couples, Stefanos helps successful people confront the emotional armor and old patterns that achievement can't hide. He's also the author of the new book Tuned In and Turned On. Larry and Stefanos both grew up with volatile, abusive fathers, and they open up about the exact moments they stood up to the men who terrorized them, the survival patterns that followed them into adulthood, and the slow inner work of forgiveness. If you're a man carrying more than you've ever said out loud, this conversation names it and points to a way through.   Timeline Summary [1:02] – Stefanos returns after six years and revisits growing up in violence [3:09] – A gambler father, criminal company, and never knowing which version you'd get [4:39] – How the abuse shifted between two brothers over the years [6:24] – Leaving the country at 18 and the eldest-child savior role [7:40] – Larry shares his own story of standing up to his mom's abusive boyfriend [10:09] – Why a terrifying confrontation can be a painful gift with a long trajectory [12:40] – Stefanos on the night at the kitchen bench when he told his dad "I'm not small anymore" [18:46] – Stefanos' full background in behavioral science, performance, and embodiment [21:24] – The unconscious, fractured initiation from boyhood into manhood [23:44] – Larry on deliberately taking his sons through rites of passage [24:26] – Where the relationship with his father stands now, and the memoir project [27:15] – Forgiveness as an inside job and letting go without relying on the other person [29:37] – Scarcity, hypervigilance, and why the nervous system prepares for the worst [36:18] – Why 80% of healing is how others show up and meet you [38:41] – How children internalize abuse as proof they're unworthy [41:24] – The book's practices: get a friend, and why men are so isolated [46:20] – Deliberate solitude in nature and learning to slow down [48:55] – Seeking physical challenge as the path to real confidence   5 Key Takeaways Standing Up Is an Initiation — For many men, the shift from boyhood to manhood happens through a raw, unchosen confrontation rather than a healthy rite of passage. Naming that moment helps you understand who you became because of it. Forgiveness Is an Inside Job — Closure doesn't require the other person to change or even participate. Peace comes from your own diligent inner work, not from waiting on an apology. Your Survival Patterns Made Sense Once — Scarcity thinking and catastrophizing were hypervigilant survival tools in childhood. The work isn't to shame them away, but to notice them and stop feeding the beast. Healing Is Relational — Around 80% of transformation is being met with compassion and nonjudgment by someone who can relate to you. Insight matters, but connection is what actually changes you. Get a Friend, Then Get Alone — Men are epidemically lonely, so build real friendships despite the risk. Then balance that with deliberate solitude in nature and physical challenge that builds genuine confidence.   Links & Resources Episode page and all links: https://thedadedge.com/1506 Join the Dad Edge Alliance: https://thedadedge.com/join Dad Edge Boardroom Goal Setting Intensive: https://thedadedge.com/goals Tuned In and Turned On by Stefanos Sifandos: published by Hay House, February 2026 (audiobook includes bonus material) Stefanos Sifandos on Instagram: https://instagram.com/stefanossifandos Stefanos Sifandos on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@stefanossifandos Follow Stefanos Sifandos on Facebook and TikTok: search "Stefanos Sifandos" The Pursuit of Legendary Fatherhood by Larry Hagner: referenced in episode   Enjoyed This Episode? THE STEFANIE GASS SHOW - Clarity Coaching, Kingdom Entrepreneurs, Podcasting, Courses, Christian Business Coach

If you are searching, "why do I keep sabotaging my business" or "how do I stop self-sabotage as a Christian entrepreneur", then this episode is for you as it directly answers that question. Is your business starting to work and you're somehow finding ways to slow it down, derail it, or talk yourself out of it?  Friend, you are not broken. But you do have a pattern that needs a name. In this episode, I break down the spiritual root of self-sabotage and why strategy alone will never fix it. Welcome to The S.A.F.E. Trap, Four faces of self-sabotage every Christian woman entrepreneur falls into: Shrinking when God said expand, Abandoning when it gets hard, Flooding your focus with comparison, and Escaping into endless preparation. Each one is grounded in Scripture, including Numbers 14:2-3, 1 Peter 5:8, Galatians 6:9, Proverbs 16:3, and Philippians 1:6. You'll learn why the Israelites in the wilderness are the original self-sabotage story and why every premature pivot resets the harvest you were about to see. This action plan gives you four concrete steps: identify your default S.A.F.E. Trap, make a 30-day no-pivot commitment, mute your comparison triggers for one week, and pray a specific prayer of repentance and recommitment over your calling. God did not give you this calling so you could talk yourself out of it every six weeks. The business He gave you hasn't expired and it has not been reassigned. It just needs your consistent, committed obedience.  I pray this episode is the one that finally makes it click.   Ready to Make Consistent Income From a Podcast? Hey — quick catch-up: this episode dives into a husband who's been the butt of his wife's friend Megan's “jokes” for months. Little digs about cooking, fixing things, and asking if he's sulking turned into a pattern that felt less like teasing and more like deliberate bullying. He usually laughed it off to avoid awkwardness, but when it kept happening at a party, he finally said, “Can you stop? It's getting annoying being the punchline every time we hang out.” The room went quiet, Megan got embarrassed and left early, and later a few people scolded him for not pulling her aside. But here's the thing — if someone is chronically making your partner uncomfortable and your friend group watches it happen, you can't just expect the target to always tiptoe around the problem. Sometimes boundaries have to be set in the moment. This conversation gets into who's actually in the wrong — Megan for the mean comments, the wife and friends for letting it go on, and whether calling someone out publicly is ever justified when the behavior has been ongoing. There's also a hint of possible flirtation or “negging,” and the classic bully defense: “I'm just joking.” So what do you think? Would you have pulled her aside privately, or stood up in the moment like he did? Tell me how you'd handle a friend who keeps making your partner the punchline — I want to hear your take.

We explore why Long COVID has been so difficult for the public to grasp, why facts alone don't seem to be enough to create change, and the role storytelling plays in helping communities be seen, believed, and understood. We also discuss the concept of "hypocognition," which is what happens when society lacks the frameworks to recognize a problem, and how this shows up in the experiences of people living with chronic illness and disability, as well as disability culture, patient-led research, the power of first-person narratives, how communities organize, and what keeps people speaking up when progress feels so very painfully slow. We also chat about Charlie's friendship with Alice Wong, and the lessons he learned from her about advocacy and life. You don't have to live with Long COVID to understand how it feels to try to find purpose when your life takes an unexpected turn. But if you do have LC, are navigating another chronic illness or disability, you're supporting a loved one, or trying to better understand what millions of people have experienced over the last 6 years, I think we took a really good look at how people telling the truth about what they've lived through is a powerful way to drive change. Ibelieve one of the greatest mistakes we make is taking this verse out of itscontext. Remember, Paul did not write this verse by itself. It is theconclusion of everything he has been saying in verses 10 through 12. He hasbeen talking about contentment. He has been talking about learning to livewhether he had plenty or little. He has been talking about being full and beinghungry... Having abundance and suffering need. Then he says, "I can doall things through Christ which strengthens me." Whatare the "all things"? The context answers the question. Paulis saying, "I can live in poverty through Christ." "I can livein prosperity through Christ." "I can endure suffering throughChrist." "I can handle success through Christ." "I canremain faithful whether life is easy or difficult because Christ gives me thestrength."Thinkabout Paul's life. As he writes these words, he is not standing in a palace. Heis sitting in a Roman prison. He is chained to a Roman soldier. His future isuncertain. Yet instead of complaining, he is overflowing with joy. How? Notbecause he is naturally strong. Not because he has unusual determination. Butbecause Christ is strengthening him every day. Notice carefully what Paul says."I can..." Not, "I might." Not, "I hope." But,"I can." This is the confidence of faith.  Thennotice the next words. "...through Christ..." Paul'sconfidence was never in himself. Throughout this letter he has consistentlypointed us away from self and toward Christ. TheChristian life has never been about self-confidence. It is aboutChrist-confidence.  Noticethe final words. "...which strengthens me." The verb literallymeans, "to continually infuse with strength." Paul isn't sayingChrist gave him strength once many years ago. He is saying Christ keeps onstrengthening him. Every day. Every trial. Every hardship. Every opportunity. Thisreminds me of what Jesus said in John 15. "I am the vine, you are thebranches... for without Me you can do nothing." The branch does notstruggle to produce fruit. It simply abides in the vine. The life of the vineflows through the branch. In the same way, Christ's strength flows into thelife of the believer who depends upon Him. Perhapsthat is why Paul wrote in Galatians 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ:nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me." What awonderful truth! The Christian life is not difficult. It is impossible—apartfrom Christ. Only Christ can enable us to forgive when we've been hurt. OnlyChrist can enable us to rejoice in suffering. Only Christ can enable us to loveour enemies. Only Christ can enable us to remain content when circumstanceschange. That is exactly what Paul is saying here. Foryears I have observed that this verse, along with Philippians 4:19, is oftenquoted without reading the verses that come before it. As a result, sincereChristians sometimes become discouraged. They expect these promises to workalmost like magic formulas. But God's promises are always connected to God'spurposes.Paulcould say, "I can do all things through Christ," because hehad spent four chapters teaching us how to walk with Christ. He had learned thesingle mind of chapter one. The submissive mind of chapter two. The spiritualmind of chapter three. The secure mind of chapter four. He had learned torejoice... To pray... To trust... To think on the right things... To practiceGod's Word... To be content. Now,after years of walking with Christ, he can testify, "I can do allthings through Christ which strengthens me." Friend, whatever God asksyou to face today... whatever burden He allows you to carry...  Whatever trial He asks you to endure...Whatever opportunity He places before you... You do not have to face it alone.TheChrist who saved you will strengthen you. His grace is sufficient. His strengthis made perfect in weakness. And because He is enough, you can faithfully dowhatever He calls you to do.

Remembering my Friend Lindsey Graham: Who he was as a Person & Why he left such an Extraordinary Legacy

Lindsey Olin Graham (July 9, 1955 – July 11, 2026) was an American politician, attorney, and Air Force officer who represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate from 2003 until his death in 2026. He was one of the most influential Republican senators of his era, particularly on national security, judicial nominations, and foreign policy. Early Life Graham was born in Central, South Carolina, where his parents owned a restaurant, pool hall, and liquor store. He became the first member of his family to attend college, earning both a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of South Carolina. While in school, he suffered the loss of both parents within about 15 months and took responsibility for helping raise his younger sister. Military Service After law school, Graham joined the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, serving as a military lawyer. He served on active duty from 1982 to 1989, including assignments in Germany, and later continued in the South Carolina Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. During his military career he reached the rank of Colonel and retired in 2015 after 33 years of service. Entry into Politics Graham began his political career in the South Carolina House of Representatives, serving from 1993 to 1995. In 1994, he won election to the U.S. House of Representatives from South Carolina's 3rd Congressional District, becoming the first Republican elected from that district since Reconstruction. During his time in the House, he gained national attention as one of the House managers who prosecuted the impeachment case against President Bill Clinton in 1999. U.S. Senate Career Graham was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002 and took office in January 2003. He won reelection in 2008, 2014, and 2020. Throughout his Senate career he served on several powerful committees, including Judiciary, Appropriations, Budget, and Environment and Public Works. He also chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee and later the Senate Budget Committee. Key Political Positions Graham became known for: Strong support for a robust U.S. military and interventionist foreign policy. Advocacy for American support of allies such as Ukraine and Israel. Leadership on judicial confirmations, including helping advance the confirmations of Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. Relationship with Donald Trump One of the most notable aspects of Graham's career was his evolving relationship with Donald Trump. During the 2016 Republican presidential primary, Graham strongly criticized Trump, but after Trump's election, however, Graham became one of his closest allies in Congress and frequently advised him on foreign-policy and judicial matters. Legacy His supporters remember him as a skilled legislator, military veteran, and influential voice on national security. Critics often challenged his changing political alliances and hawkish foreign-policy positions. Nevertheless, he remained one of the most recognizable and consequential Republican senators of the early 21st century Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.
