Anything too loud will cross the threshold of pain and soon have you reaching for the volume control. There's more on the correct use of headphones, in a bit. Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I'm looking forward to sharing with you some of our community's questions that have come in over the past few weeks…   Patti: Thank you Dr. Cabral for all you do. My husband started doing the 7 day quarterly detoxes, DNS & Equilife supplements about 9 months. He can feel the inflammation decrease after the detox. He had symptoms of gall bladder issues & had medical tests @ 2 years ago & every thing was fine. When the 3 months is nearing to an end & his next detox is approaching, he gets those symptoms again. Should he do the CBO protocol or a lab? If so, which one. Thank you   Marion: I like to know what is the BEST probiotics brand product to take to lose the most weight.   Mariah: Thank you and your team for everything that you do to make the world a healthier one! Every time I lay down, I get a lot of bloating, very hard distension. Then when I get up, I feel pain on my upper abdomen which takes a few hours to subside again. But these two symptoms happen every time I lay down and get up. Nothing showed up in endoscopy. My Osteopath says I have mild hyper-mobility and she thinks that is a contributing factor to my bloating. Any suggestions?   Leah: Hi Dr Cabral, I try to live an overall healthy lifestyle. I eat, exercise, sleep, meditate etc in the most optimal way that I can. The problem is, I love my wireless headphones which I know isn't great. Especially the number of hours I wear them per day. While I know the radiation is bad, the convenience is so beneficial. Are there any tips that help with minimizing the effects or potential damages? Thanks so much!   Cara: Hi Dr. Cabral! A few weeks ago my daughter and I got a stomach bug. It was a few hours of vomiting and then just no appetite and rest for about 3 days. Some stomach cramping during recovery. However, Im curious about the vomit. After the emptying of food in my stomach, the bile that came out was a browner color. My daughters bile was regular color green/yellow. I know you can't give medical advice, but if you had no other stomach pains, acid reflux or anything, would you be worried about the bile being brown? When I looked this up it said it could be blood, or blocked intestine. The problem is going to even an FMD, would require multiple visits and getting to a GI MD. Im an IHP 2 and I have not been to an FMD in almost 3 years. Just curious what you would do in this situation. Thank you, Dr. Cabral!   Cara: Hi Again! I've owned a popular stainless steel gravity filter for 5 years. However, for the 2nd time Ive noticed rust in the bottom chamber. They say that if it comes off with 50/50 vinegar/water wash, it is just mineral build up. It didn't come off after this process. I noticed that the stainless steel spout had some rust in it too. I'm wondering if this is why I had a metallic taste in my mouth doing my last FM detox. Maybe coincidence. What would you be concerned of if you knew you and your daughters (mine is 6) had been drinking water that was coming in contact with potential rust? Thank you! Trying not to lose my mind with this situation... Also have you finished reviewing another water filtration option?   Thank you for tuning into this weekend's Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right! - - - Show Notes and Resources: StephenCabral.com/2319 - - - Get a FREE Copy of Dr. Cabral's Book: The Rain Barrel Effect - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: CabralSupportGroup.com - - - Dr. Cabral's Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - Get Your Question Answered On An Upcoming HouseCall: StephenCabral.com/askcabral - - - Would You Take 30 Seconds To Rate & Review The Cabral Concept? I've got something slightly different for you today than the usual fair. How are you feeling about atmospheric drum & bass this morning? To be fair, this is not the first time that I've showcased this genre on these pages (see Clima‘s Headphone Commute Mix or the super fun Chill & Bass Mix by Orangewarrior). Except for this time, it's also a label showcase, featuring very special selections from James Clements‘ newly launched Spatial imprint (a sub-label for his Auxiliary), with an ethos to “recapture the essence of the mid 90's scene” featuring classic breaks and heavy sub-bass. So far, the roster includes James' own celebrated ASC project, as well as Simon Huxtable's Aural Imbalance, but I suspect it may grow further, beyond the two. Meanwhile, because of the tight curation, each release is a beautiful and cohesive 12″ (yes, FINALLY available on vinyl) as well as a digital offering via the usual channels. In any case, this is an absolutely wonderful and very welcome journey for my sunny morning, and I hope that it'll be for you as well! I'll stop talking here but will include a pretty lengthy writeup (on my site) from the label boss himself. Enjoy! Tracklisting and more here: https://hcdi.gs/Spatial

Tales Vinyl Tells-”stories record albums convey”

My seventh live radio show at WRFN-LP includes a couple tunes from the great and very cool Mose Allison, one of those tunes coming from The Who, there's some Fleetwood Mac, some Peace and Quiet. I believe I heard, years ago, from the old folks, “If you're doing requests, I want some Peace and Quiet!” This is most likely not what they expected, but it's a great one. There's a cut from Fragile and we finish with I am the Mercury, from Jimmie Spheeris. This is what I feel the highest time of music in the 20th century. Headphones are a good way to listen and Sunday morning is a good time to listen but anytime and any way is what works. Thanks for listening! Tales Vinyl Tells live on RadioFreeNashville.org and 103.7/107.1 Wednesdays at 5 PM Central. See you on the radio!

We're really happy to be able to share with you our latest piece of captured quiet, fresh-in from the Forest of Dean, and fresh-in from our first ever non-stop 72 hour unattended recording. It's what evening sounds like now, in the forest.   If you're new to this podcast, our mission is simple. We get panoramic microphones into natural places, without anybody around, then share what they catch on the podcast. It's all real with no software jiggery-pokery to extend or pretty-up the sound-scenes. The quality comes from us physically hiking out to interesting and special locations and from bottling just what's there using high spec mics.  Radio Lento is a 'natural experience' podcast. If you're not sure how to get the most from it we've put a few tips below. Each episode presents the authentic sound of time passing from a real place with no interruptions, talking or adverts. We hope it helps whether your just wanting to listen to something to  clear your head, use as part of a mindfulness session, or to surround yourself with somewhere else. * Your guide to getting the best slow experience from Radio Lento podcast: 1. Headphones work best because this podcast is all about the spatial sound-feel of real places and this includes long periods of often soft and very detailed natural sound. We know this can take a bit of volume level re-adjustment though as other podcasts are much louder. 2. Listening in a comfortable and relatively still position is recommended too, because each episode is recorded from the perspective of someone standing or sitting still, surrounded and immersed within the landscape. It's listening best suited to those working, reading, resting or doing mindful focusing. 3. And finally we recommend giving yourself a bit of time to listen and unwind, whether its five minutes, fifteen or all the way through an episode. For those interested in gaining the benefits of mindful or deep listening, we set-up and record in sympathy with every location to ensure the podcast keeps providing a weekly source of naturally evolving content from real places.
