Arthur Miller's classic play “All My Sons” tells the story of a father who attains the American Dream, but at a high cost to himself and everyone around him. Nearly 80 years after the original, Berkeley Rep's new production reimagines the play with a Puerto Rican family at the center. The main characters, Joe and Kate Keller, are played by real life couple Jimmy Smits and Wanda De Jesús. We'll talk with the actors and director David Mendizábal about what the production has to say about the American Dream today. Mahnaz has lived with volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity in ways most product teams never will. In this episode, we talk about what happens when VUCA isn't theoretical, how to avoid becoming an order taker, and how courage, empathy, and initiative can reshape your role as a designer. What if the volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity you're facing at work feel overwhelming only because you've never had to live through it in your everyday life?I throw the word VUCA around like it's a trendy framework. Volatility. Uncertainty. Complexity. Ambiguity. But for Mahnaz Hajesmaeili, those aren't abstract concepts; they're lived experience.Originally from Iran, before becoming a product designer, she built a life in China, knowing she could never fully belong there. When COVID hit, borders closed, savings ran out, and the life she had carefully constructed disappeared almost overnight. She returned to Iran, started over, taught herself UX, and eventually rebuilt her career in the United States. That's not “roadmap volatility.” That's real volatility. This week, I chat with Mahnaz to explore how living through that level of instability reshaped her approach to work. Why rejected designs don't shake her. Why unclear strategy doesn't rattle her and why she doesn't default to being an order taker. If you've ever felt overwhelmed by shifting priorities or frustrated by leaders who “don't know what they want,” this episode offers perspective—and practical lessons.Give it a listen. It might change how you define uncertainty.Helpful Links:• Connect with Mahnaz on LinkedIn

You submitted the questions. Now here are the real answers. In this episode, I'm sharing a replay of a live Q&A I did the other week — and I answer the questions you're probably too embarrassed to ask out loud. Why can't you stop eating after supper even though you know better? Is it worth tracking macros? Do supplements actually work? What about exercise in menopause? And is change even possible if you've struggled your whole life? The answers will surprise you. Because the way I talk about this stuff these topics is very different from the standard "just eat less" mentality. Be sure to listen. And then listen again - this one is packed with a LOT of tips. This episode is perfect for you if you're exhausted from trying to fix your eating in the evening, frustrated that your workouts aren't moving the scale, and ready to hear something that actually makes sense for your real life.

Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded and edited, and it's ready to help you wrap up the week. On today's podcast, the guys discussed the Wayne Gretzky locker-room snub rumour, the Oilers' disastrous effort in Anaheim, Tristan Jarry's struggles, Tyler's hypotheticals, and more. The guys kicked off the Thursday episode of Real Life with a conversation about the Olympic hockey final and a rumour that came out this morning saying Wayne Gretzky was not allowed in the room for a pre-game speech. Given that the rumour started on Barn Burner, it's been interesting to see how much noise came out of Mike Commodore's comments on the show. While the rumour has been shot down by Hockey Canada, social media has continued to run with the story.Changing gears, the conversation turned to Tyler's list of "fun" hypothetical scenarios that weren't really all that fun. Unfortunately, those hypotheticals didn't do much to lift the mood in the room, as everyone was still notably annoyed by how the Oilers are playing right now. From undoing the Skinner-for-Jarry trade or adjusting current Oilers contracts to free up cap dollars, Tyler offered a few this-or-that scenarios that were as sad as they were tricky to parse. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with the Thursday episode of Real Life, running through topics, starting with staying away from social media in the days after the gold medal game, rivalries growing the game, the 2028 World Cup vs. a Summit Series-style head-to-head, and beefs of the week. As you'll hear and likely expect, this week's episode of Real Life covered a lot of ground and topics that were all over the map. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this raw and deeply honest episode of Busy, Gritty, Inked & Witchy, Morgan shares a powerful life update about anxiety, physical illness, identity shifts, and what she calls "personal power states." After a severe reaction to a medication landed her in the hospital, Morgan experienced a week and a half of intense physical discomfort, anxiety spirals, and emotional upheaval. Instead of resisting it, she chose to sit in the discomfort and uncover what was really happening beneath the surface. In this episode, she breaks down: • How anxiety attaches to physical discomfort • Why resisting fear keeps you stuck in loops • What "personal power states" are and how to identify yours • The difference between restrictive fear and expansive freedom • How identity shifts happen in real time • Speaking your truth when it isn't well received • Energetic cord cutting and reclaiming sovereignty • The birth of Alchemy- a deeper energetic tier inside Inked Spirit Coven Morgan explains how recognizing her core personal power state — freedom — helped her move from fear and contraction back into expansion and agency. If you've struggled with anxiety, identity changes, speaking your truth, or feeling disconnected from yourself, this episode offers grounded insight and practical reflection. ✨ Patreon bonus this week: A guided journal prompt sheet to help you identify your own personal power states. Today's QOTD: What are some out-there rules that should be implemented in life?
Hey Diabuddy thank you for listening to show, send me some positive vibes with your favorite part of this episode. In Episode 333, Coach Ken and Graham dive into a wide-ranging, honest conversation sparked by a viral question: Should Type 1 diabetes even be called diabetes? What started as a short social media clip turned into thousands of views, healthy debates, and emotional responses—highlighting the confusion, stigma, and misunderstanding that still surrounds diabetes today. Ken and Graham unpack why this topic struck such a nerve, how language shapes perception, and why clarity matters—not division. From there, the conversation expands into real-world diabetes challenges: insulin access and affordability, rationing fears, stress-driven insulin resistance, CGM infections, reusing supplies, and how everyday decisions—exercise, food quality, sleep, and stress—can dramatically change insulin needs. The episode closes with a thoughtful discussion on Dexcom's new 15-day CGM, environmental impact, patient assistance programs, and what progress actually looks like for people living with diabetes. This is raw, unscripted diabetes conversation—exactly what the live show is designed to be.
This week we jump from stand-up comedy, missing co-hosts, and fallen plant heroes in Real Life into pre-life genes, ancient genetic risks, and cosmic-scale evolution in Future or Now — before closing out with Predator: Badlands, franchise nostalgia, and a deep appreciation for Yautja lore. Real Life Ben was not present this week. The official explanation given: he's out marrying his sister. We chose not to ask follow-up questions for legal and emotional reasons, and instead moved forward with cautious respect and mild concern. Devon had a far more socially acceptable outing, hitting a comedy show and discovering a cool new cocktail bar right next to the venue — which is objectively the correct pairing for live comedy. He caught sets from Heather Shaw (https://www.instagram.com/heathershawiskidding/) and Tyler Elliott (https://www.instagram.com/tylerelliottcomedy/), both of whom absolutely delivered. Tight pacing, sharp jokes, and the kind of live energy that reminds you comedy hits different when you're in the room instead of watching clips online. Steven, meanwhile, has been locked into A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and is fully endorsing it. Strong characters, grounded storytelling, and that classic slow-burn worldbuilding that rewards patience. On the tabletop side, his MCC game took a brutal turn when a player character died — goodbye Plank the Plantient. A true legend. A photosynthetic casualty. The kind of loss that only high-lethality RPG systems can deliver with a straight face. Future or Now Devon brought in a genuinely mind-bending scientific development: researchers are finding duplicated genes that appear to have existed before the last universal common ancestor of all life on Earth. In other words, parts of the genetic toolkit may predate what we traditionally define as "life" itself. By tracking these rare, ancient gene duplications, scientists can reconstruct how early cells may have functioned and what biological features emerged first. It pushes the origin story of life further back than expected and turns evolution into less of a starting point and more of a long prologue. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2026/02/260210082913.htm This spiraled naturally into broader science discussion, including a Veritasium breakdown of complex scientific ideas and some internet discourse around aliens and political commentary, because no modern science conversation remains purely scientific for long. Veritasium: https://youtu.be/XX7PdJIGiCw?si=dRNcQst0xU_XKcYE Brian Tyler Cohen (Aliens & Obama discussion): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0438rjwS7c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZP90ldOByo&t=134s Steven followed with a topic that sounds mythological but is very real: the so-called "Celtic Curse," better known as hereditary hemochromatosis. Researchers have now mapped the genetic risk across the UK and Ireland, identifying major hotspots in north-west Ireland and the Outer Hebrides. In some regions, roughly one in 60 people carry the high-risk gene variant linked to iron overload. The dangerous part is how quietly it develops — symptoms can take decades to appear, yet untreated cases can lead to liver cancer, arthritis, and other serious complications. It's a reminder that genetics isn't just about ancestry curiosity; it's about long-term health awareness. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2026/02/260221000332.htm Book Club Next week's reading is All You Zombies by Robert Heinlein (1958), which means we are heading directly into time loops, identity paradoxes, and classic golden-age sci-fi mind-bending territory. https://lecturia.org/en/short-stories/robert-a-heinlein-all-you-zombies/19420/ This week's discussion centered on Predator: Badlands and, naturally, the broader Predator franchise as a whole. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predator:_Badlands We talked about our personal history with the series, how it evolved from pure action-horror into something closer to mythological sci-fi, and where Badlands lands within that spectrum. Devon was a bit mixed on some of the action beats but still enjoyed the overall experience, while Steven leaned much more positive — especially when it came to the expanding Yautja lore. The cultural codes, the hunting philosophy, and the deeper worldbuilding continue to be the franchise's strongest hook. It's less about "monster shows up" now and more about an alien warrior culture with rules, hierarchy, and legacy, which makes revisiting the older films even more interesting in hindsight. If you enjoyed this episode, make sure to follow the show, share it with a friend who loves sci-fi, genetics, and chaotic pop culture discussions, and check out our Patreon for bonus episodes, playlists, AI images, unedited recordings, and access to our Discord community. Come hang out, talk books, science news, and sci-fi with us — and don't forget to read All You Zombies before next week, because the timeline is about to get weird.

The A24 film Marty Supreme brings the world of table tennis into the cultural spotlight, it also quietly parallels a powerful real-life story behind the sport. Appearing in two scenes in the film is Yasiris Ortiz, a professional table tennis champion and Bronx-based community leader whose journey from international competition to grassroots youth empowerment mirrors the film's central themes of discipline, belief, and dreaming beyond circumstance. Ortiz's appearance in Marty Supreme is not a performance in the traditional sense; she is not portraying a fictional character, but rather bringing authenticity to the screen as a real athlete whose life has been shaped by the sport. For Ortiz, table tennis has never been just a game; it has been a tool for transformation, one she now uses to create opportunity for young people across New York City. Born and raised in Bayaguana, Dominican Republic, Ortiz discovered table tennis at a young age and quickly fell in love with the sport after competing in her first tournament. That passion carried her beyond her hometown and onto the international stage, representing the Dominican Republic as a member of the national table tennis team at the cadet, junior, and senior levels. Through competition, she traveled the world and learned firsthand how sport can open doors far beyond what once seemed possible. In 2016, Ortiz moved to New York City with her family, facing the challenges of adapting to a new country, learning English, continuing her education, and rebuilding her athletic life from the ground up. Unsure whether she would be able to continue competing, she spent countless hours riding the subway across the city in search of table tennis clubs where she could practice and stay connected to the sport that had shaped her identity. What began as persistence soon became purpose. That purpose crystallized when Ortiz began teaching table tennis at an elementary school in the South Bronx. There, she witnessed something transformative: students arrived to class excited, engaged, and eager to learn. Through table tennis, they developed focus, confidence, discipline, and joy—qualities that carried into the classroom and beyond. As interest grew, neighboring schools began reaching out, and what started as a single program evolved into Spin & Learn, an education and wellness organization founded in 2020 that integrates table tennis with academics, physical fitness, and social-emotional learning (SEL). Since its launch, Spin & Learn has partnered with more than 45 public schools across New York City, serving thousands of K–12 students through in-school enrichment, after-school programming, wellness days, assemblies, and author visits connected to Ortiz's children's book, “Yasi the Champion.” The organization has become known for meeting students where they are, using movement and play to build lifelong skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging. It delivers high-quality programming at scale through its strategic partnerships with leaders in the global table tennis industry, including Paddle Palace, the leading equipment supplier in North America, and Stiga Sports as Ortiz's official partner. Now, as Marty Supreme brings renewed visibility to the sport, Ortiz is marking a new chapter with the official launch of the Spin & Learn Foundation, a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to expand access to table tennis, wellness, and enrichment programs beyond the school setting and into the broader community. The Spin & Learn Foundation was created because families kept asking for a place where their children could continue training after leaving their school programs. Ortiz saw how quickly access could disappear once students moved on, even though the interest and talent were still there. The Foundation is about creating continuity, making sure young people and families have a place to grow, train, and belong. While Spin & Learn operates primarily within schools, the Foundation is focused on long-term, community-based impact. Its mission is to provide programs for economically disadvantaged individuals across diverse communities, ensuring access to enrichment opportunities through table tennis that promote physical and mental wellness, build personal resilience, and develop leadership skills for lifelong success. Through future partnerships with community centers and shared spaces, the Foundation aims to serve not only youth, but also families, adults, and seniors who may not otherwise have access to structured recreational and wellness programming. Ortiz sees a meaningful connection between the themes of Marty Supreme and the work she has spent years building, noting that she relates deeply to the film because she came to this country without a clear path, driven only by a dream. Everything she has built since then, including a table tennis program that has reached thousands of students, started with believing in that dream. As table tennis reaches new audiences through film and popular culture, Ortiz believes the moment carries responsibility as well as opportunity. She emphasizes that representation matters, but representation paired with access is what creates real change. Seeing the sport on screen is powerful, but what matters most is what happens off screen—in schools, in communities, and in spaces where young people need support and mentorship. With the launch of Spin & Learn Foundation, Ortiz is working to ensure that the attention surrounding Marty Supreme translates into something lasting: expanded opportunity, deeper community engagement, and a growing network of spaces where sport, education, and wellness intersect. From the big screen to the Bronx, Yasiris Ortiz's story continues to unfold, not as fiction, but as a living example of how belief, discipline, and access can change lives. To learn more, visit Spin & Learn online at https://spinandlearn.com/, call 718-690-1673, or email info@spinandlearn.com. Spin & Learn is an educational and wellness organization that combines table tennis, physical fitness training, academics, and social-emotional learning to create fun, active, and meaningful learning experiences for students, primarily serving K–12 students across New York City in partnership with public schools and community organizations. - Looking for that extra spark to level up your life? Should Christians still tithe? And why do people lose their minds when a pastor wears a nice watch? In this episode, PF, Kenneth, and Esther tackle one of the most divisive topics in church culture — money, tithing, and what pastors actually deserve to earn.PF gets vulnerable about his own lifestyle, reveals he works 80 hours a week on 5 hours of sleep, and explains why he'll never apologize for owning a Rolex. The conversation digs into the theology behind tithing — Old Covenant law versus New Covenant freewill giving — and why so many Christians are confused about what the Bible actually teaches on the subject.PF breaks down why tithing was originally about food (not money), why Malachi 3:10 is the most misquoted verse in church, and what giving should actually look like for believers today. But this isn't just theology. The crew gets real about church operations — from a $50,000 emergency HVAC replacement to why pastors are among the most underpaid professionals in America. PF shares why pastoral suicide rates are alarming, and makes the case that the laborer is worthy of his wages. In this episode:• Why tithing as we know it isn't actually a New Testament command• PF's honest take on pastor compensation and lifestyle scrutiny• The $50K HVAC story: what it really costs to run a church• "Serving God is not a sentence of poverty" — why PF won't apologize• Old Covenant vs. New Covenant: what the Bible actually says about giving• Why pastors are underpaid, underloved, and burning outTIMESTAMPS00:00 - Cold Open: The Pastor's Tattoo Controversy02:00 - Introduction: Kenneth, Esther & PF04:00 - Should Christians Judge Their Pastors?07:00 - "Teachers Will Be Judged More Strictly" — James 3:110:00 - The Tithing Question: Old Covenant vs. New Covenant14:00 - Malachi 3:10: The Most Misquoted Verse in Church?18:00 - Tithing Was About Food, Not Money22:00 - New Testament Giving: Freewill, Not Mandatory26:00 - Why Do People Get Mad at What Pastors Own?30:00 - PF's Rolex: "I Work 80 Hours a Week on 5 Hours of Sleep"34:00 - "Serving God Is Not a Sentence of Poverty"37:00 - The $50,000 HVAC Story: What Running a Church Actually Costs40:00 - Why Pastors Commit Suicide: Underpaid and Underloved44:00 - The Laborer Is Worthy of His Wages47:00 - Prosperity Gospel vs. Honest Compensation50:00 - How Should Christians Give Today?53:00 - Closing Thoughts: Give Cheerfully, Not Under Compulsion
In this episode of The Secrets of a Witch Podcast, I discuss the importance of aligning our attention with our intention. Many people these days seem to be addicted to (and easily sucked into) mindless content online, or even outrage olympics rage bait online. Instead of spending hours arguing on the internet or scrolling through cat videos from the entire time you get off work til when you go to bed, ask yourself - what else could you be doing with your time? Don't you have something to create, something to do, something to learn, or even something restful that would actually replenish and revive you? Controlling and containing our own energy and attention is crucial when we consider what it takes to have a good life where we fulfill and execute on our purpose and passion.-Secrets of a Witch is a podcast by writer, artist, and spiritual teacher Sabrina Scott. She's been a practicing witch and medium for more than 25 years, and in this casual, mellow show she shares her secrets and musings about how to overcome pain and live a happy, magical life. Is there something you've experienced that was so painful, you haven't been able to fully forgive?Living on this earth opens us up to ample opportunities tobe hurt, betrayed and even victimized. We all have had varying degrees of emotional, physical, sexual and spiritual pain, with the damage ranging from mild to life-altering, and devastating. The bigger the nightmare event in our lives, the harder it can be to forgive the perpetrators. We by nature maywant revenge, or to make our offenders "pay" and can hold onto anger, rage and bitterness knowingly or even unknowingly. We can't fully forgive in and of ourselves, without God.Fortunately, we serve a God that is well aware of our earthly struggles with forgiveness. God is not standing off in a corner of the room, judging us for our frail, and fragile hearts that war with what feels like letting someone off the hook. God, in His perfect love, has provided ways to walk through the forgiveness journey. Listen in today as Tiffany Jo Bakerspeaks with Mark Sowersby, the author of Forgiving the Nightmare which discusses the hidden hell that God brought him out of, and how he was able to forgive his abuser and the incredible freedom that was waiting for him on the other side.Listen in for:Why unforgiveness opens the door to satan's attacksHow God is waiting to walk you through the forgiveness journeyWays you can discover that you are truly forgiving and healingFavorite Quotes:"I didn't start this story or testimony by seeking forgiveness, I started it by seeking the Lord, and the Lord would bring me toforgiveness." - Mark Sowersby"It was God's words that became sweeter, and louder than my abuser's words." - Mark Sowersby"Forgiveness comes in waves, and seasons." - Mark SowersbyFavorite Scripture:"If you forgive others when they sin against you, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive them, your sins will not be forgiven." - Matthew 6:14-15To learn more about Mark Sowersby, his ministry and all ofhis resources, please visit http://www.forgivingthenightmare.com. *Want timely words, resources, and episodes delivered rightto your inbox to help you fuel and fulfill your faith journey? #402 In this episode, Guy introduced returning guest Katie Sutton and framed 2026 as an intense period of energetic change, comparing it to riding a wave and sharing a personal story about cycling Bolivia's "Road of Death" and his own recent ancestral trauma release. Katie says the year marks a collective transition out of centuries of oppression and separation, with people pushed to claim authentic expression, process shadow, and navigate collapsing systems while holding both personal and collective intensity. She described the Fire Horse year beginning February 17, noting early months focus on shedding and integration alongside a solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse two weeks later, and a Mercury retrograde, with more visible new beginnings arriving in March and April. They discussed practical ways to avoid victimhood and burnout by slowing down, using micro-moments to feel and release triggers, prioritizing nervous-system regulation and solitude, and embracing joy alongside grief, while emphasizing co-creation with others and the earth. Katie explained her relationship with spiritual guides and earth energies, recounts a transformative Glastonbury pilgrimage experience and preparation practices, and closes by encouraging listeners to take good care of themselves through the year's "high highs and low lows," connect with her through Zen Within Academy, and consider retreats and workshops in places like Glastonbury and Charlotte, North Carolina. About Katie: Katie Sutton based in Charlotte, NC is an intuitive channel, vibrational energy healer and wayshower who supports you on your personal path to wholeness and fulfillment which is manifested by living as your authentic self. During her individual healing sessions, workshops, speaking engagements, retreats and online programs and events, she intuitively crafts an alchemy of meditation, breath work, energy medicine and channeled teachings from her guides and higher self to awaken unity consciousness and deep healing for her clients and students. With a warm and compassionate approach, Katie has helped countless individuals overcome their challenges and find greater peace, joy, and fulfillment in their lives. Her dedication to serving others has made her a respected and sought-after healer, teacher, and guide in the field of holistic health and wellness. Katie's approach is centered around empowering her clients to tap into their inner wisdom and access their own unique gifts, allowing them to live as their authentic selves and manifest their true potential. In this episode of ThimbleberryU, we explore the concept of building and maintaining confidence under uncertainty, especially for healthcare professionals who are already accustomed to high-stress environments. The financial world often mirrors the unpredictability of healthcare. Policy changes, staffing shortages, and burnout are compounded by volatile markets and alarming news cycles. Our focus is not on prediction, but on creating confidence through structured, thoughtful planning. We start by addressing how fear-driven headlines can tempt people into making financial decisions based on emotion. Amy reminds us that headlines are built to provoke urgency, not provide clarity. Market fear is often noise, not rooted in personal financial change. Reacting impulsively often locks in losses and increases risk. That's why we advocate for responsible inaction, a deliberate choice to stay the course unless personal circumstances demand a change.A strong financial plan assumes uncertainty. It's not built for calm seas, but for the real-world storms. That means including flexibility for job changes, a sufficient cash buffer, and the ability to adapt without starting over. Confidence grows from knowing your plan already factors in the unpredictable. It's not about guessing what's next. It's about trusting the structure you've created. We dig into the concept of guardrails. These are rules and pre-decisions made in calmer moments to help reduce decision fatigue. Healthcare professionals already follow protocols in their daily work, and the same concept applies to finances. These protocols guide us through emotionally charged situations and help prevent impulsive, regrettable moves.Cash plays a unique role in confidence. For healthcare professionals, cash isn't just an emergency buffer; it's emotional relief. It offers flexibility, covers transition periods, and acts as a cushion during market downturns. However, it's also important to avoid extremes. Too little cash creates anxiety, while too much slows growth. The right amount depends on career phase, income variability, and life responsibilities. We close with the reminder that certainty isn't the goal. Resilience is. When a plan is built to withstand real life, it allows money to support your lifestyle, not compete for your attention. That's where true confidence comes from.(00:00) - Intro: Confidence Under Uncertainty(00:47) - Why Healthcare Professionals Are Feeling Financial Strain(01:25) - The Emotional Impact of Headlines(02:12) - Market Fear vs. Personal Risk(03:08) - What “Doing Nothing” Really Means(04:51) - Is Your Financial Plan Built for Real Life?(06:04) - Guardrails and Reducing Decision Fatigue(07:30) - The Role of Cash in Building Confidence(10:48) - Cash as a Confidence Tool, Not a Cop-Out(11:00) - Final Thoughts: Confidence Comes from Structure(11:33) - How to Connect with Thimbleberry Financial To get in touch with Amy and her team at Thimbleberry Financial, call 503-610-6510 or visit thimbleberryfinancial.com.The ThimbleberryU Podcast is produced by JAG Podcast Productions - https://jagpodcastproductions.com/

You named the love you didn't choose. Now let's watch it move. In Episode 1, we went deep into the three inherited love patterns—Conditional, Silent, and Sacrificial — and the childhood sentence you've been trying to finish your whole adult life. If that episode shook something loose in you, this one is going to show you exactly how that shaking plays out in real time.Because here's the truth nobody wants to admit: most relationship pain is not random. It's not bad luck. It's not “I just keep picking the wrong people.” It's patterned. It's rehearsed. It's a loop. And what you've been calling “my type” ...might actually be your wound wearing a new outfit. In this episode: • The Pattern Loop explained: Trigger → Reflex → Story — the three-step cycle that keeps you stuck • Why your nervous system picks “familiar” over “healthy”—and what to do about it • Real-life examples across romance, family, friendship, and work so you can spot the loop in YOUR life • A brotha's story: how emotional shutdown looked like “strength” —until it almost cost him everything • A 60-second interruption practice you can use the moment you feel yourself slipping into the old scriptThis episode might feel exposing. But it's not here to shame you. It's here to free you.New to the series? Think vampires are just spooky fun from movies and books? Wait until you hear about the real-life people who took their bloodthirsty obsession way too far.IN THIS EPISODE: If you're a fan of U.S. History, you might already know that camels once roamed the American Southwest – brought to Texas by the military because they'd be perfect for the desert climate. But once it was all over a legend remained… a terrifying one. (The Red Ghost of Arizona) *** Just because an official government report is released about a UFO sighting or incident doesn't mean that Ufologists and researches are going to accept those findings – or the story the government tells. Thus is the case with a UFO incident in 1952 outside of Tokyo at the Haneda Air Force Base. (The Heneda Incident) *** When it comes to horror and fantasy, you'd be hard-pressed to find something more dangerous or terrifying than the vampire.
