Hi there party people! In this vulnerable episode, I share about what I learned from an ill advised situationship blowing up in my face. I broke some of my own rules, I knew better, and I played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. What red flags did I ignore? What did I learn from the experience? I mean, how DOES someone who made a podcast episode (two years ago!) about how bad and pointless situationships are, kinda end up in one? Listen to this episode to hear all about it (red flags of situationships or early dating) and learn from my mistakes so you don't make them. I also talk about how many of us know better yet break our own rules, and how it's so important to give ourselves grace, compassion, love, and forgiveness as we move forward with lessons and self worth.Secrets of a Witch is a podcast by writer, artist, and spiritual teacher Sabrina Scott. There's nothing better than a Thursday episode of the Real Life podcast to get you through what's left of your week with a little dose of shenanigans and Oilers-adjacent tomfoolery. The fellas kicked off the Thursday episode of Real Life by welcoming Wanye back to the show for the first time in what feels like forever. With Gregor on vacation in Hawaii for 10 days, Wanye got tapped to fill in at 1440 while Jason was on vacation, and he had plenty of stories from his time on the radio. If you know Wanye's knowledge of sports outside of the Oilers, you'll realize how hilarious it is to have him host a four-hour sports radio show. Hijacking the show, Chalmers was tired of talking about sports radio and shifted the conversation to a preview of a great sports weekend. As we learned, Chalmers has a personal connection to this weekend's Waste Management Open, which has him extremely excited to watch the amateurs competing in the tourney. Somehow, that led to a conversation about spending money from your first job after Tyler asked how much it would have cost for the guys to quit school and get right to work. From there, the boys looked ahead to Sunday's Super Bowl and got into the weeds with their prop betting sheet. With each contributing $20 to the pool, the strategies for approaching these props were all over the map. Needless to say, some of these props are ridiculous and betting real money on any of them seems foolish, but that doesn't mean the fellas didn't have a good time doing it anyway. Either way, the trend of increased betting talk on the Real Life podcast continues to rise.
It's Wednesday afternoon, meaning it's time for a fresh episode of the world's greatest podcast. On this week's episode of Better Lait Than Never, I'm begging Connor McDavid to shoot more, wondering when Viktor Arvidsson will stop falling down, and wading through the noise surrounding Stuart Skinner.I kicked off the Wednesday episode of BLTN with a recap of the week, including my gripes with the weather, the Real Life golf league, and a tease about a former Oiler who could soon be working with us. I also followed through on my promise to give away a BLTN hoodie for a listener who sent me a picture of their podcast review. I also promised to do these more often because they really do help the podcast grow, and I also want to keep rewarding listeners for playing along.Turning the podcast back toward the Oilers, I started with a quick recap of Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Blues. The Oilers almost lost that one due to a four-minute stretch of disastrous hockey in the third period, so I couldn't help but wonder what's going on with these in-game lulls lately. If I'm putting my detective's hat on for a minute, it almost seems like we've got a flu running through the team right now or something. Finally, I wrapped up this quick episode of BLTN with a pair of guest Righteous Sack Beatings, before wrapping up the show with another round of voicemails that were all over the map. The inbox was slow and steady again this week, but I still got plenty of laughs from your ideas, feedback, and voicemails. As always, I sat back and laughed while listening to everything that's been on your mind over the last seven days.

Her current role involves connecting with physicians to share ways The Rose can help patients and providing patient navigation insights. Key Questions Answered 1. How was Dawn Elliott diagnosed with breast cancer? 2.What role did Dr. James McBride play in Dawn's diagnosis? 3. What was the stage and nature of Dawn's cancer diagnosis? 4. In this episode of Stories from Real Life, host Melvin E. Edwards engages with former Baltimore social worker Jack Kammer to discuss critical male issues, gender dynamics, and the societal expectations placed on men. The conversation explores Kammer's anecdotes and his work on the "wimp" bill with the late Congressman Elijah Cummings. They delve into the importance of recognizing male struggles, the impact of fatherhood, and the evolution of the women's movement, emphasizing the need for a balanced dialogue about gender equality. Jack Kammer discusses the critical role of fatherhood in society in this conversation, stressing the need for men to be recognized as nurturing and caring parents. He addresses the concept of toxic masculinity, advocating for self-examination among men while critiquing the way the term is often misused. The discussion also explores the challenges boys face in transitioning to manhood, highlighting societal disincentives and the emotional struggles men endure. Finally, Kammer sheds light on the double burden faced by black men, navigating both racism and sexism, and calls for a broader understanding of gender issues that affect all men. https://www.malefriendlymedia.com/ Want to be a guest on Stories from Real Life? "Follow your heart." We hear this saying often, don't we? But is this wise advice? Sure, these three words can inspire us to pursue our dreams and to carry out what we feel called to do. Yet, they can also take us to places that aren't God's best for us. Today we are uncovering why this popular mantra can lead us astray and what we can do instead to live a purposeful, God-centered life. We will learn exactly why following your heart isn't biblical, nor is it the best way to live. Your Femdom hosts talk about why they love phone sex and distance domination. The focus is on fantasy roleplay that is only possible in fantasy or is the perfect choice for someone who can't explore their desires in a “real” life setting.Ms Erika describes fantasy roleplay as letting go of logic and being able for a Mistress to push boundaries that couldn't otherwise be pushed. Ms Olivia agrees, adding that being able to suspend reality is perfect for storytelling. Both ladies point out the unique intimacy in this kind of connection. Mistress Erika brings up how the long distance relationship actually reduces inhibitions and allows someone to really talk about erotic desires without fear of judgment or fear of rejection from your real life partner, wife or girlfriend. Some roleplays are physically impossible. The ladies talk about several examples including:Giantess, shrinking, and tiny man fantasiesThe magically transformed category that includes coerced feminization: male to female transformation scenes as a sissy, bimbo / slut, or submissive woman.MILF fantasies where the caller is transported back to being a young man with an older womanBi sexual exploration or submission to a Dominant manFantasy cocksucking without any fears of safety, health or other issues. All the various versions of cuckold fantasiesPublic humiliation (that's a no no for consent and safety reasons)Exhibitionist and/or voyeur fantasiesCum eating that is hot only before someone has cum to eatSome of the behind the scenes conversation will give you insight into how we each bring our creativity to our erotic roleplay scenes.Mistress Olivia's blog: Experienced MistressMistress Erika's blog: Intelligent Phone Fantasy
It's the last week of NHL games ahead of the 4 Nations Face-Off, so there was plenty to discuss on the Monday episode of the Real Life Podcast. The guys kicked off the Monday episode of Real Life by looking ahead at the Four Nations Face-Off and discussing whether they are getting more excited as the tournament approaches. Given that it's the only hockey we'll be able to watch for two weeks, the guys wondered how excited people will be even with some of the best players on the ice together for the first time. Tyler also brought up the Oilers' schedule and how they'll be on the road for nearly two weeks after the 4 Nations break is over. Changing gears, the guys talked about playing golf video games and how Chalmers has joined Baggedmilk and Tyler in playing PGA Tour: Road to the Masters. Given that all three of the boys have that game, they're already setting the table for a Real Life virtual goal tournament when the boys can finally sync their schedules up and get to work. Feeling jealous that the boys are all playing golf, Jay invited himself over to Chalmers' house so that they could fill out the foursome. Turning the podcast toward the NBA, the guys discussed the Luka Doncic trade that sent the Mavs superstar to the L.A. Lakers over the weekend and tried to figure out what a comparable deal would look like in the NHL. Chalmers and Tyler discussed how a massive deal like this can go down with only one trade partner in the mix. Could you imagine a scenario where a team would trade an Auston Matthews-calibre prospect without anyone else in the league knowing he's available?

Ever wonder what separates a good salesperson from a great closer? In this episode I sit down with Matt Salter, a top real estate agent, to dissect one of Matt's real-life calls with a motivated seller. You'll hear how asking the right questions and focusing on the seller's true pain points creates trust and urgency. Zack reveals how to use techniques like mirroring, labeling, and a soft pre-close to lead sellers to say 'yes' without feeling pressured. This is a crash course in mastering discovery calls—perfect for anyone looking to close more deals faster. And if you're curious to hear the full call, join the Creative Real Estate Investing Facebook group—it's all there waiting for you. Key Takeaways: Make It About Them: People want to talk about themselves—let them. Build trust by showing genuine interest in their story. Stay Focused: Avoid distractions and tangents during a call. Steer the conversation back to solving the seller's problems. Ask Open-Ended Questions: Instead of pushing for a commitment, guide sellers by asking, "What are you hoping to get from our meeting?" Create Urgency by Highlighting Pain Points: Dig deeper into what's costing the seller money or time and reflect those concerns back to them. Master the Pre-Close: Ease into it by suggesting the next step naturally, asking if they'd be open to discussing working with you.
