Conversations in Women's Health

In this episode, I talk with Women's Health NP and MGHIHP alumni, Stephanie Small, about providing contraceptive care to patients. We focus on hormonal contraception in particular, but talk about approaches to counseling patients who are initiating contraception for the first time, or who are having challenges with a method. We talk about evidence based resources for clinicians, and educational resources for patients. We end with a brief discussion about policy and the importance of NPs speaking up and out to ensure access to contraception.
