A conversation of horological meanderings with a focus on passion and a distaste for commercialization.

Here I talk about the why, the vintage market, and the watch media. A note: I speak about the cost of some watches purely, because I would assume some would ask. "Value" is a conversation this is very specific. For some, $300 for a watch is a lot of money, for others it is nothing. I respect the cost of money for all people. I only buy watches that make sense for me and my opinion is my own. I am not particularly interested in costs of watches, if only for a listener who is interested in a particular watch. For myself only, the conversation around, "what is the best $500 watch?" is not interesting. My religion is that it is always up to the individual. Watches: 1) Legran Monnin Diver (Eta based) 2) Baltic HS01 3-hand (821a Miyota) Wine 1) 2014 Cabriz DOC DOA Portugal Red Wine (Widely Available)
