Your voice is important in any kind of relationship. If you can't truly say how you feel you have to then determine if that relationship is worthy of your energy and time.

Life is going to present many obstacles. I truly don't believe obstacles were set in place for you to give up but more so for you to understand what you're fighting for. Without obstacles life would just be too easy.

Although adults often say things like, “He was so young when that happened. He won’t even remember it as an adult,” childhood trauma can have a lifelong effect. Most people are still living everyday with their childhood experiences.
