Enough bands over-stayed their welcome within their respective genre. Countless bands and artists created timeless music, but few did it over a 5 year period. Lynyrd Skynyrd provided many a way out of their every day lives, while barbecuing, drinking beer on a lake or at the local watering hole and still do to this day, even if, they only gave us 5 years of their "glory-days".
