Minithink

Welcome to the Minithink Series! This is a supplemental series of Rethink, which is a radio show broadcasting on Bailrigg FM. The aim of our shows is to challenge stigma no matter what form this takes, and give honest, truthful experiences of marginalised voices and give them a platform. This first episode is about Max's story of dealing with a child sexual predator at 15 years old; what happened, how it was dealt with, how they felt and the effects it had on their friend. This is solely told from Max's perspective, and what life was like for them when they discovered one of their teachers was sexually preying on their friend from school. Please note: This episode has frequent reference to solicitation of a minor, but sexual content has been kept to an absolute minimum to avoid as much triggering content as possible. There are no graphic details of abuse. Names have been changed to protect the identity of Max's friend and the predator involved.
