From a young age, I believe, we were all taught this song but now it can also be held to a higher standard and seen as a beautiful affirmation of ourselves and our struggles to find happiness.
Acceptance might not be what you think it is; it just might change your life. A big part of healing and recovering from the painful parts of life is accepting what’s taken place. In order to move on, we must first acknowledge what’s happening now.
The journey begins when we learn to face our fears. The journey continues when we muster up the courage to make a change. But that change begins with us.
