Research in the Business School is focused in the areas of business strategy, employment studies, creative industries and institutional economics. In the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, 80% of the Business research submitted by the University was judged to be of 'International Quality'.
Professor Gregor Gall is a leading expert on various aspects on trade unionism in Britain, particularly on issues of union recognition, union organising, and strike activity. Among his publications is one on sex worker union organising. This lecture, given in 2006, examines what constitutes sex work.
