Love it or hate it, content creation is here to stay. It’s one of the most powerful tools you have in connecting with and attracting customers. Some of you might be thinking – okay, great, but what exactly is content creation? Can I write a blog once a month and call it a day?  Content is everything you put out there to communicate with your audience –your website, videos, podcasts, social media posts—even how you respond to emails and phone calls. Effective content communicates three things: Who you are, how you can help your customers, and why they should choose your business. It requires a solid strategy and a lot of time. They say more than half your social media posts should be original content. It’s more engaging and gives your business more authority. But you’ve got fires to put out – and creating original content is daunting. Where do you find the time? If you’re a solopreneur or part of a small communications or marketing team, you know exactly what I mean. I’ve been a content marketer and storyteller for 15 years. In that time, I’ve worked on small teams where big accomplishments were expected with little to no resources, I’ve made mistakes, and I’ve written and published award-winning books. I’ve learned a lot along the way about engaging an audience, why it matters, and what works.  Our podcast aims to help you produce the best content possible and save you time, whether you choose to do it on your own or hire help. We’ll talk about how to build a strong brand, tips for making a great video or podcast, building an effective social media strategy, the user experience of your website, best practices for image use, and more. We’ll interview creative and marketing professionals, business specialists, audio engineers and other experts to get different perspectives on brand strategy and communication, and why content is such an important part of your business marketing plan. Every business has a story to share – we look forward to helping you share it effectively!
