This is a short story from the life of Jesse Owens, an American track and field athlete. The story accounts for his friendship with a german athlete named luz long in the 1936 Berlin summer olympics. Their friendship was unusual as at that point of time hitler’s nazi superiority was prevalent and Owens being a black man, wanted to defy it.
