Uncomfortably Us is a podcast about having honest conversations about mental health with your hosts Jules & Meghan. We are all just a bunch of anxious cucumbers that are muddling through this shit show together so why not share it with each other and maybe feel just a little less alone.
Welcome to the second episode of Uncomfortably Us! My friend, Alex from ABH Movement, and I talk about self-love and what that means to us and how that looks like. Please be aware that some topics such as gay, non-binary, dating, relationships, and growth could be triggering. Please take the space you need to feel safe and vulnerable when listening. Role Models! Have you ever looked up to someone who inspired you or has unfortunately let you down? In our first episode of Uncomfortably Us, we talked about role models and their influences on us. Have you ever had a role model in your life? Let us know by tweeting @uncomfortablyus.
Uncomfortably Us is a podcast dedicated to discussing mental health in an honest and vulnerable way. We aim to have conversations ranging from depression, anxiety, coping mechanisms, and bipolar to workplace mentality, toxic relationships, family abuse, etc. mixed with Jules' overthinking and Meghan's dad jokes. Jules and Meghan recently were reunited at a Wynonna Earp convention held in Toronto. While this podcast, may not surround WE in its entirety, the fandom brought us together to be able to create this podcast and discuss issues that have greatly affected many people (certainly within the fandom itself). If you have a topic you'd like to be discussed on the podcast and/or be a guest, feel free to DM @UncomfortablyUs on Twitter or email us at uncomfortablyus@gmail.com.
