Raymond visits Princess Abigail in the castle and sees the library he’d read about in Kalen’s account. The princess influences the king to hold a tournament so Raymond can be knighted.

Raymond wakes from his dream and discovers Sir Andrew is going to search Sir Willard’s house for the princess. He lets Raymond come with him to show where Sir Willard is holding the princess captive.

Raymond meets the king and realizes he’s more like his ancient relatives than he thought. He also recognizes a house in Raliston – because he’s been seeing it in his dreams.

Raymond arrives in Gorin and goes in search of the king, only to find the strongest men in the country participating in a tournament in which he isn't qualified to participate. 

Raymond has another nightmare. He sees a woman held prisoner and tries to help her but can't get to her before he wakes. He hears the swords calling to him. Could they be calling him to another world?

After a couple weeks delay, I finally bring you the final chapter in Part 1! Enjoy! Kalen must return to normal life after his encounter with the wizard and dragon. He knows he will never be the same again. What can he do to warn future generations against the dragon's return?

The wizard confronts the king. Kade and Kalen must protect the king and princess at all cost.

Kalen shares his plan to defeat the dragon. The king is willing to try it but only if they do everything in their power to protect the princess. The men begin preparations to set their trap for the wizard and dragon.

Kalen wakes from the dragon's attack to find the army encampment almost destroyed. He has an idea to defeat the dragon and the wizard and shares this with the king and his commanders.

Raymond is interrupted from reading the story of Kalen and Kade when his father calls him to breakfast.
