In 1994, former Marine David Cox was found murdered by the Charles River. Twenty-five years later, the case is still not solved, despite the many theories and speculations in existence.

On February 6, 2008, Andrew Boisvert murdered his ex-girlfriend and Medfield resident Meg Ninos in her home on Marlyn Road. He later killed himself by hanging, denying any involvement in the murder with a note left in his pocket. They left behind their young daughter, Maggie, and many other friends and loving family members.
