For many catholic parishes, they create different ministries to help them create areas of inclusion as well as making sure that the Catholic mission is reached in a variety of ways. LGBTQ+ (or queer) ministries are not a common ministry that churches have, but should. In this episode, Ariana will go into why.

We have all heard the infamous phrase "God Hates Gays", but is that really true? Ariana talks about what she's discovered through her research and takes time to dissect that phrase and show what it is false.

Ariana dives into the importance of realizing that when it comes to identity, there are many intersections that one must keep in mind when finding yourself. You are not just a bunch of different boxes stacked on top of each other, rather you are one large box full of different things.

In this episode, Ariana talks a little about how in her journey of figuring out her identity, her mental health was negatively affected and the things that have changed since she realized this fact. Using 1 Peter 5:7 to guide her in her thoughts, Ariana will explain how one’s relationship with Christ can also affect the way one lives.

Ariana starts to explain the relationship between her faith and her sexuality as she dives into her coming out story and through the barebones of what it was like to start this journey of identity discovery.
