As we’ve gotten older, we’ve realized that adult life can get pretty complicated. We have each other to get advice from, but we know there are people who might be struggling that don’t have someone they can talk with. Which is why we started this podcast. We want it to be relatable to anyone who listens. Something that you can not only listen to for advice but that you could just turn on for a good laugh. Think of it like we’re just a couple of best friends having a conversation. We’re so excited to have you come along on this journey with us. Thanks for listening! In today’s episode, we talk about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Unfortunately, this is something that we both have dealt with and continue to deal with. We tell the stories of our personal experiences with PTSD and how we have learned to cope and progress towards recovery. We discuss the main symptoms, knowing and avoiding your triggers, and ways to hopefully help you with overcoming PTSD. This is a very serious discussion and one that should not be taken lightly. While our form of PTSD might not be as severe as someone else’s- that does not make it any less real. If you also have some form of PTSD, please know that you are not alone and it does get better. SPILLING OUR CHILDHOOD SECRETS This week, we wanted to do something a little less serious. We found a “sibling tag” on the internet and answered a few of the questions- and let me tell you, some of our juiciest childhood secrets were spilled.
“Your passions and desires are put into you for a reason- it’s not just by chance.” In this episode, we focus on how to make the right choices for your life- specifically going to college and finding a career. We both had different experiences in these areas, so we explain how we navigated through that time in our life to get to where we are now. It’s all about finding your passion and chasing those little moments in life that bring you happiness and reassurance that you are on the right path. Remember that no one else has to live your life but you! So choose what makes you happy! Since this is the first official episode we recorded, we decided to tell you more about ourselves (because if we’re going to be best friends, we have to get to know each other!) We tell you a little bit about our background, what we’re currently doing with our lives, and how we became so close. We also admit to why we’re always late and how we got caught lying to strangers! This episode is kind of all over the place, but hopefully, by the end you’ll have gotten a little glimpse into who we are!
