No one wants to be underestimated, belittled, or average at the things that they do. So why do we let others decided what we're capable of doing? If you and I were to go into a competition together, I may come off a bit cocky by letting you know that i'm going to win. I don't do this because I want to discourage you , but to let you know how serious I am about doing a good job. If you do better than so be it! At least I know that I tried more than my best and I exceeded expectations. Have this mindset that I explain in the podcast and you'll be surprised of what you're truly capable of!
The world today has made so many people complacent with their lives and what they do on a day to day basis. Just for them to wake up 10, 20, 30+ years from now and realize they really have done much with their lives. Then they mope about how its too late and there's nothing that can be down about it now. But, the truth of the matter is you always have a chance to change the outcome of your life and circumstances. For example, if you struggle in social situations I'm sure you’ve been told to get out there and talk to people! Right? The one thing you don’t want to do and feel your not good at your supposed to do? Absurd! So instead you’ll retreat back into comfyville feeling like the odd one out. What needs to be realized here is that we’re not just talking about inability to be social. We’re addressing the inability to hold yourself to a higher standard of being that person who IS okay in social situations. To be that person who IS ready to go to the gym or confront the workplace bully. The only way these things get easier in life is if you face them head on consistently. Then you'll look back wondering why it was so hard in the first place. If you’re trying to be happy in life, take these tips. Go through that fire and come out stronger. Do the things that make you feel agony constantly and you'll find in time the agony goes away.
So often we know what we want and even how to get there, but don't take any action. How badly do you really want it? Even better, why aren't you taking the action necessary to get there. Take a look at the mirror and find out.
