Real Industry, Real Talk

Mark is a pharmacy tech - which means he works at a pharmacy, and is in charge of dispensing medications and filling prescriptions for patients. He came on the show to talk a little bit about life in the pharmacy, some thoughts he has on the trade and interesting automations that are taking place in the industry.

Adam is an AEMT - an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, working for a fire department as well as an ambulance service. He shared his experiences working in the emergency response business, and a little bit of the logistics involved in his trade.

Grant owns a 3D printing shop, and we talked about the different types of projects that come across his desk, how he got in the industry to begin with (with a degree in business!) and what he's excited to see in the upcoming years.

Today we have Duncan - a machinist, specialising in repair parts for the aerospace industry. He'll tell us all about machining as a trade, what it's like to work at a shop, and the surprising demand for competent people in his profession.
