The Significance of the Blood is the first in a series of sermons that unveils the deeper meaning of  Jesus' blood sacrifice as first foreshadowed in the old testament covenant practices and then completed on the cross of Christ. Blood is the fluid of life, growth and health to our bodies and without blood nothing can survive. But sin demands a penalty only satisfied by death, the pouring out of blood. Jesus' death not only defeated sin once and for all but it also released the power, the promise and the workings of His blood into our lives.
