The holiday season is in full swing. The Grinders are ready to stuff their faces for Thanksgiving. The sales and the shopping are just beginning. But, most important of all, this is the last episode of Grinders for Nov 2026! While passing the gravy and making your Christmas list, don't forget to listen to Eric's reviews. So close to the end of the year there aren't many new releases left. However, Dec 8th will see the Steam release of the Y's inspired Angeline Era. For the people who don't mind waiting, February 2026 will see the releases of Norse: Oath of Blood and Y's X: Proud Nordics. Once the food is done, the last thing most people want to do is talk to their family members. So instead of gouging out ears, why not try to relax with a good movie or tv show. The Grinders have some recommendations and some warnings. Are Kpop Demon Hunter or Spin the Bottle going to leave Frank with more indigestion than eating an entire pecan pie? Are Predator Killer of Killers and the Super Mario Bros Movie so bad that they would make Eric prefer to watch football? Are Gen V and Alien Earth filled with enough nudity and gore to make Break enjoy them even more than the sweet potatoes?  If the dinner table political fight with the drunk uncle wasn't enough to get one's blood boiling, then maybe these Stinkos will get the heart rate up. Our overly stuffed president continues his war on the American people. Between his appointees, our failure of a Congress, and corrupted judges across the country there is a lot of anger. They embrace NAZIism while rejecting science. Despite their hateful claims, people do not become autistic because of vaccines. Also, they need to stop trying to "fix" autistic people. They are not broken! We can all agree that the stuffing is the best part of the meal. At least, no one can disagree because I have no editor. Just like the stuffing the Sweetos are here to counteract the bitter taste of Stinkos. In the surprise of all surprises the American government is finally releasing the Epstein files. From here, we can only hope it leads to punishment for everyone involved in the abuse and coverup. More than anything, we all should want justice for the victims. With only one segment left, it's time to loosen those pants for dessert. Almost as good as pumpkin pie but not even close to apple pie is the delicious Driver's Seat. Although the Grinders don't talk much about sports the final segment is dedicated to their favorite and most influential athletes. Football players, Olympians, baseball players, and competitors from numerous other sports get the respect they deserve. With so many delicious food options, don't be the guest who brings green bean casserole or fruitcakes. That is a good way to not get invited back. But it's not all bad, anyone kicked out of family events has more free time to listen to RPGrinders!                 I know I usually use this space for my sarcasm, but now I'm just thinking about Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey light meat. Turkey dark meat, stuffing, rolls, cranberries, mash potatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, and a variety of pies... And now I have to try not to drool for a week, no promises and no apologies for drooling in my sleep.      

Lawyers acting for victims of the infected blood scandal have written to the Chancellor demanding urgent action to avoid families and loved ones having to pay £100,000s in tax. The government has previously said compensation payments would not be subject to Inheritance Tax. But with around 3,000 victims having already died they say a change in the rules is needed to avoid their loved ones facing huge tax bills. The Treasury says it's "considering" the issue and a decision will be made at the Budget.Plans to reform standing charges for gas and electricity "will not work" and should be scrapped, the trade body for the energy industry Energy UK has told Money Box. Standing charges are the fixed daily cost that households pay just to be connect to electricity or gas supply. They rose sharply this month to an average £320 a year - more than £6 a week - a cost you must pay before you turn on a light or cook your dinner. Suppliers say they cover the cost of providing and maintaining the supply. However, the energy regulator Ofgem is considering proposals to offer all customers a reduced standing charge, but at the cost of paying more for the electricity and gas they actually use. As a detective, he worked in a unit that investigated crimes against children, including sex crimes, serious physical abuse and child homicides. He was later re-assigned to the violent crimes unit, where he investigated homicides, robberies and other serious felonies. He was an active member of his county's major crimes team, which investigated homicides and officer-involved shootings. After 10 years in investigations, Robert was promoted to sergeant.

In this week's episode, Blood editor Dr. Laura Michaelis interviews authors Drs. Terri Parker and Peter Lenting on their latest papers published in Blood Journal. Dr. Lenting discusses his work on introducing a new therapeutic approach to von Willebrand disease with the development of a novel bispecific antibody (KB-V13A12) that links endogenous mouse VWF to albumin, extending VWF half-life twofold with cessation of provoked bleeding. Dr Parker shares the results of a 43-patient phase 2 study that evaluates the single agent isatuximab, a CD38 monoclonal antibody, in patients with relapsed/refractory AL amyloidosis. Award-winning Vietnamese-Canadian filmmaker Janet-Rose Nguyen is set to premiere her new short film Do You See Her? at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival (BITS),running November 17–22, 2025, in Toronto at the Isabel Bader Theatre. The unsettling psychological horror follows Katie (Ivy Miller), a woman who questions her sanity as she's stalked by a terrifying entity; one she can only see when her glasses are off. Inspired by the visually impaired, Janet-Rose's film is both an ode to the fragility of perception and a meditation on fear. A rising voice in Canada's genre film landscape, Janet-Rose Nguyen is an award-winning writer and director whose work explores the intersections of horror, queerness, modern society, and the Asian diaspora. A Top 10 Finalist in the Screencraft Horror Competition for her feature Cedar Falls Bay, Janet-Rose has also been selected for Rising Voices Canada, Tribeca Film Festival's Creators Market, Stowe Story Labs, Reelworld's Emerging 20 Program and the Canadian Film Centre's CBC Actors Conservatory.  Janet-Rose Nguyen  is currently in post-production on her debut feature, Welcome to Kurosawa House, starring Jean Yoon (Kim's Convenience). As a queer Vietnamese-Canadian storyteller, she is deeply committed to bringing underrepresented voices to the screen, crafting stories that challenge, unsettle, and expand the boundaries of genre.
