This is the documented audio journey to Food and Freedom. Along the way so far I tend to have many candid conversations about who, why and what we do @zerohungerwithlangar - I hope you can find some value by being a fly on the wall and apply it to whatever you’re up to in life too. If you like wh…
You have everything you need. We need to stop looking externally to find what, who and why we are instead spend that time reflecting on what makes you, you. And go all in on that. As always thanks for taking the time to listen
Money is an infinite resource - it will never run out. This conversation took place with some students at the University of Leicester when they asked how ZHWL scaled to 100,000 meals a month so quickly... the answer is easy. We chose responsibility over money. Thanks for listening. I hope you can find value in our journey that you may be able to apply to everyday life
A movement is made up of people but more importantly it’s what those people are willing to do for the movement which defines it as a collective. ZHWL is and always will be a space where we can all practice our values and aspire to leave the world a slightly better place than when we found it. As always, thank you for taking the time to listen
If your ‘NOW’ is not happy then your not to distant future version of that ‘NOW’ is unlikely to be happy either. The point is life is just a series of NOW moments. Dwelling on the past or living in the future can really disrupt your ‘NOW’. In this convo with he Basics if Sikhi Guys I was just so grateful for getting the opportunity to visit their office that I couldn’t help but to just thank God for the ‘NOW’ that had just presented itself. Thank you for listening
IMHO the way we do charity right now is broken. Not the act of charity but the way in which we may in trust others to do it on our behalf - you may or may not agree. Either way your opinions matter to me a lot. As always thanks for taking to the time to listen
Nothing worse than letting your fears hold you back. After all in the end nothing stays and we all end up facing the ultimate fear of all - death. In this conversation I’m trying to articulate how I try to keep fear in its place - it doesn’t always work out but what’s the worse that can happen? As always, thank you for taking the time to listen
An idea alone never gets you where you want to go. A heavy dose is practicality is required to even take one steps towards your goal. Having said that, it does start with an idea and the people who eventually did get to the moon had that as an idea also. This audio clip is of a conversation I had whilst having lunch with a few guys shooting a film about the great Fauja Singh - take a listen and please do let me know what you think. Thank you for taking the time to listen
This is a short snippet of a conversation I had to with Justin - country director for boNGO in Malawi - about what makes us do what we do. Thank you for taking the time to listen
