In this Episode of Dancing Through the Storm, I interviewed Robin Monson-Depuis. Robin is a Mental Health and Drug Addiction Counselor and Facilitator of the GRASP (Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing) Group, Greenfield, WI Chapter. Robin and her family lost her son Ethan after a difficult battle with substance abuse and mental health issues. Robin is a firm believer in Co-Destiny and talks about how this concept has helped her through the tragic loss of her son. She also sheds some much needed light on coping skills, support, the stigmas surrounding addiction, guilt, compassion, and how the opioid epidemic has impacted all of us. This episode is for absolutey everyone.
In this episode I interviewed Bev Kelley-Miller to talk about her daughter, Megan Kelley’s struggles through addiction. We also talked about the many things Bev is doing in the community to bring awareness and shed some light on addiction which she did beautifully in our interview. Bev is one outstanding advocate and activist. You won’t want to miss her insight on the Opioid Epidemic and living with the grief of losing her 22 year old daughter.
