This is a big question that we all come across in our christian walk. We've all most likely asked it ourselves and hopefully we've all done some thorough biblical research into the answers. We also challenge you guys to read more than what we or anyone asks of you, for example, in this episode one of the scriptures we quoted was from Romans 6 verse 6 - 7 and verses 14 & 23. we have challenged you to read the entirety of Romans chapter 5, 6 and 7. This is an extremely important part of performing a very thorough reading of scripture and will further your scriptural understanding in immense amounts. This question often trips us up, it gets us caught between trying to be good in order to earn our salvation and trying to reach out for the gift that salvation is. Season 1 Episode 6 Theme - Salvation In this episode, we share some thoughts & our understanding around the question : Why do we need salvation? This is a question that plagues a lot of humanity, and perhaps has even caused many people to give up on pursuing faith. We, as humans, grapple with this question in trying to give pros and cons to salvation, but we believe that thought process is going about it all wrong. We get introspective and share our Testimonies. Tim and I were raised in completely opposite atmospheres and under completely differing belief sets, and still God has weaved Himself into the fabric of our two distinctly different lives and worked in our hearts to His glory and purpose. Sharing our testimonies is very important as it is an incredibly real view of how God has and is at work in our lives. We chat about something Unityandgrace.pa said on our instagram feed about how the body of Christ should, pursue, pioneer and foster unity amongst all the churches and all members. We are all parts of the body of Christ. We discuss what is unity and why are called to have it? How do we pursue and foster unity in our churches and in a global sense and then how do we pray for and what do we pray for in order to have unity? I share of our current struggle with understanding God's heart about healing and ask for prayers and revelation of His will and truth, and that He will speak to us directly in our struggle that we will know The truth and be set free. So I started an instagram page for the podcast because I really want us to connect, to be able to share our stories and thoughts. This podcast is not only about my voice, its to stir up all our voices and get us all talking and sharing life. We are not perfect; not a single one of us. Sooooo. I deleted the audio from the first podcast by accident and all that was left on the actual podcast was the intro and outro..epic fail. So I did a short (read 14 minute long) summary and then I introduce myself and speak on why I want to do the podcast, Do I think my voice matters and a bit about a struggle I had with lust and porn and then end on what marriage is to Tanzinne and I and how we approach it.
