Welcome to Kemping Up, a podcast covering parenting and family life from a gentle perspective.
In this episode, I talk about what to do when you don't live up to your own "gentle parenting standard" that you've set for yourself. I discuss the fact that even gentle parents have days where they fall short and make mistakes, but that doesn't mean we have to lose our gentle parenting title.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/kempingup)
In this introductory podcast, I give you some insight into who I am, who our family is, and what parenting style we follow. I touch a bit on the definition of gentle parenting, childism, and attachment parenting and offer a few examples from our daily life to further your understanding of the topic. *I would also like to add a disclaimer: When I say we are mostly whole foods plant based and avoid processed foods, this is a new thing that we are trying hard on. We have many lapses, we cheat when we’re in Disneyland, and as I stated we are not perfect. My husband is 100% vegetarian, and my son and I are 100% vegetarian and dairy free. But the processed junk and mock meats do sneak their way in still, some weeks more than others. Just in case anybody sees us enjoying some not so healthy things, I don’t want to look like I was trying to be dishonest. (:Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/kempingup)
