11/07/2019 Press Conference concerning the Murder of Deputy Brian Ishmael of El Dorado Sheriffs Federal prosecutors say three men charged in connection with the death of an El Dorado County deputy were in the country illegally. Deputy Brian Ishmael was shot and killed while unknowingly responding to a illegal marijuana grow in the Somerset area. New, additional charges announced Thursday, Federal and County officials state that Deputy Brian Ishmael's Death could have been prevented The penalty for marijuana counts is between 5 and 40 years in prison, with fines of up to $5 million. Both US Attorney Mcgregor Scott and El Dorado County Sheriff John D'Agostini is agreed to have been perfect during the press conference and called it like it is!
