Just got over a flu, 12 hour shift. #NoLele. Today’s grind cashes in £132. Yep, that’s right. 12 hours of pizza delivery today earns me a whopping £132. What if I told you, that between 1st January 2017 - 31st December 2017 (minus weekends and bank holidays) a professional Employed person would have worked 254 days. Between 31st July 2015 (the year I graduated) and 15th December 2017 I worked in a professional environment (on average 7:30am - 7:30pm. That means I worked a 12 hour day.... I was making £25,000 a year (basic). I included “basic” for a reason. Commission *could earn you* in excess of £70,000 per annum*. And it does, but at a cost. Your time, commitment, a contract.
