Conversations with interesting people
My guest today is my friend Kinley. Kinley and I had recorded this podcast in January and then I kind of got caught up with life and before I knew it, three months had gone by. But it’s kind of funny how things work out because I think that this is the perfect podcast for those of you sitting in isolation and finding your mind wondering. We talk about Kinley’s decision to quit her job and take an agenda free three month trip with herself and her camper, Moose, across the Pacific Northwest and eventually finding her way back home to Massachusetts.
My guest today is my good friend Amy Kitson. Amy and I have been friends for about seven years and there have been multiple times when I’ve been chatting with Amy and she’d mention that she competed in a triathlon and I’d follow up with, "did you win?" And she would very sincerely answer “yes” quite a bit it seemed like to me. So of course I needed to get her on the podcast to tell us all about her training secrets! We also talk about motherhood, relationships and so much more. I really enjoyed our conversation and know you will too.
Keenan went skiing just about three years ago and had a serious accident which rendered him a quadriplegic. The conversation you are about to hear is the first conversation Keenan and I had and I really enjoyed speaking with him and getting to spend some time with him off air. I really appreciate him sharing his story with me and I hope you do too.
Thank you so much for tuning into another episode of Moonisintune. On today’s episode I have a conversation with Don Bernstein. Don has made a living by telling stories through his photography. In today’s episode we recount his history of photography, and of course some random items. Go check out his work at Donbernsteinphotos.smugmug.com and donbernsteinpictures.com and tell him Moon sent ya!
On today’s episode, I sit down and chat with Rich Caplan. Rich has been practicing psychotherapy for over 40 years and helps treat individuals, couples, families and groups struggling with addictive disorders along with a variety of psychiatric and personal problems. I hope you enjoy.
On today’s episode I have a conversation with Paul Shvartsman. Paul is the coach of the Burlington Massachusetts High School Wrestling Program. As coach of the Burlington’s program Paul has coached one of only four teams from Massachusetts to finish in the top 2 of the New England Championship Tournament in the past 30 years. Additionally, he’s coached 1 All-State Championship team, 1 state championship team, 2 sectional championship teams and 5 league championship teams. He has also coached 42 individual sectional champs, 26 state champs, 7 all state champs, and 1 New England Champion. Needless to say, Paul is a creator of champions. He was also my coach in youth and high school wrestling and the first person to teach me about goal setting, visualization, the power of the mind and the payoff of the long grueling process of putting in hard work to achieve your goals.
In this episode I sit down with Joe Deitch. Joe is the founder and chairman of Commonwealth Financial Network, the nation’s largest privately held registered investment advisor and broker dealer. Joe is also the Chairman of Southworth Group, author of Elevate: An Essential Guide To Life, and a Tony award winning producer for Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess. Needless to say, he’s full of wisdom and insights that I really appreciate him sharing with me and the world. I hope you enjoy our conversation.
