With the rocks finding new ways to hurt me, I'm falling a little too often for comfort. I'm now into Massachusetts, so I know that the rocks will only grow more vicious as I head north. I need to work out what's happening before I hurt myself really badly. Along the way, I had conversations with some fellow travelers. First, I met Brian, or B. Isle Royale is one of the least visited of America's National Parks. Located in the northwest corner of Lake Superior, it's a tough place to get to.  Access is only by seaplane, ferry or private boat. But once visitors do come, they are likely to return. Karen Bacula has been coming to this remote island since 1997. As a teacher, she also brought students to explore this unique archipelago of islands. Now, retired, she volunteers as director of Michigan Tech's Isle Royale Institute and coordinates Moosewatch volunteers, helping people take part in fieldwork that supports the world's longest-running predator-prey study. Results   Jackson Sharp lead a quartet of Aussies in the Mile at the Morton Games in Dublin, Ireland, with Jack Anstey in 3:55.01, Thomas Diamond in 3:55.40 and Alex Stitt in 3:56.00. Jude Thomas ran 13:17.98 in the 5000m, while Toby Gillen ran 13:38.69.
