This episode I talk about my feelings before my first time trial with my new coach. I’ve only been working with him for a few days and this is our first test to see where I am at before we start a building block for the 5K. Currently shooting for a 5K around July 4t timeframe. What pace we want to make will be determined after this run.
Today’s run was a tempo run. It was rainy and windy. I talk about what my concerns were for this run, and the fears I had to talk myself through in getting myself out the door. Towards the end of the episode I have a valuable lesson to share.
