A quick update on what we've been up to and what we've been doing to get ready for the season. Deer hunting is something we prepare for year round. In this episode we interview one of the pioneers of saddle hunting John Eberhart. John is an accomplished whitetail deer bowhunter with decades in the deer woods and the trophy wall to prove it. John hunts strictly public land and land that he obtains permission to hunt. He has never paid for a lease or hunted managed properties which makes his accomplishments that much more impressive. John is a nut about scent control just like us and he doesn't hunt the wind. This mobile method of hunting has allowed John to take deer with a bow in multiple different states. John has taken 31 record book bucks from the Michigan and 19 from out-of-state. This is a very informative interview for the experienced and beginner hunter alike.
