The TOG

The TOG is a blog and podcast created to connect, empower and inspire individuals, especially those going through mental anguish. We use an intersectional lens to critiquing issues, conduct interviews and in storytelling. Intersectionality seeks to identify and address how interlocking systems of power impact the most marginalised in society. We hope you will contribute to our community by : Giving Suggestions Sharing your stories Helping to create a community of fellow TOGS where connection empowerment and support are the mainstays. Our inspiration and motto come from Dr Seuss story of Horton the elephant "A person is a person no matter how small." The story is the subject of our first podcast. The theme "A person is a person no matter how small" will run through our critiques, interviews and stories. OUR Format: Monday: Stories of inspiring people whose intersectionality contributed to becoming "FORCES FOR CHANGE." Wednesday; Interviews with individuals or critique of articles that reflect "FORCES OF CHANGE." Sunday: Coming soon ...An Intersectional panel review of Sunday papers followed by a topical subject discussion.
