Voices from Beyond the Page is a podcast which strives to get student work out of the classroom and into the ears, hearts, and minds of the listening public.
This episode focuses on the intersection between family and culture. Students were tasked with writing personal essays which explored their relationship with their family's culture--be it ethnic, religious, or other characteristic features of their family units. Our second episode is also inspired by National Public Radio's podcast "This I Believe." For this assignment, students were asked to write about a core belief or value they live by.
