In this episode, I sit down with Nicole Afra who was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 19. We discuss her downward spiral into depression and drug addiction, and how now, nearly 12 years later, she's stepped away from the drugs and is managing her epilepsy better than ever. I suffered some technical difficulties during this episode, which caused the audio from the mics to be unusable. Because these podcasts are meant to be unscripted and sincere, I opted to use the audio from the GoPro I had setup rather than attempting to record the episode again, as I didn't want to sacrifice the sincerity of this organic conversation for the sake of better audio.
