Summer vacation may be over, but there's still plenty of time to explore Alaska's State Parks with the family, before the you-know-what (snow) arrives!  In this episode, we chat with Wendy Sailors, the Development Specialist for Alaska State Parks, to get the rundown on some family-friendly programming and the much-anticipated "Family Adventure Day" on August 31st. Plus, Erin fills us in on some great places she recently explored for the first time in Alaska's interior.

Owner Shawn Thelen tells us what you'll find inside the only bike shop in town, including the camps and classes he offers and extended trail system he hopes to create in Talkeetna.
