Those crazy weeks have a name. Burning weeks. Putting out fires is part of my job and it’s a great analogy I use a lot. It’s okay, everyone goes through them and most improve themselves from the process. Keep up the hustle!

Community is so important. Had I noticed that sooner, it may have helped.

Saying yes can seriously damage your business if it’s ill advised or not thought out. Blooware ultimately got into a bad spot because of this very problem.

Once a week I take a break and do something I enjoy whether it’s make something new, go for a walk or try a new flavour of coffee this keeps me focused on my passion and reminds me that I enjoy it. YouTube is a strange CV but it worked and got me my first proper job at Realm Pictures working alongside an amazing team and doing something I absolutely loved...crawling through the dirt laying CAT5 internet cable in the early hours of the morning for alien space zombies to be streamed live across the Twittersphere.

Very early on I had so much ambition I forgot that I had only just started on this long journey, the people close to me reminded me to think about how young I was and that the company was still a baby. it’s my personal belief that if I had not had that reminder the company would be long gone. enjoy and have a great day.

Understanding your customers is vital to producing a great product or service from past experience I talk about my understanding of how best to do that and the benefits they receive if you understand your customer I also talk about a personal flaw of mine which is saying yes before I have thought about the scope of the project this has landed us in hot water more than once and I am learning very fast to make sure I take time to say no and think about what I’m being asked to do.
