This spoken word piece reflects my morning thoughts after losing my keys and noticing all of the clutter (fragmented potential) that is stored up in my house during my search. Is this stuff really clutter or is it fragments of potential waiting to be activated? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message
Life often leads us to believe that women cannot co-exist in the community without feelings of comparison, jealousy, and uneasiness. In this narrative reflection, Lady O reflects on the pleasant experiences of two separate encounters with a group of women that she had not interacted with in the past. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message
I have always been fascinated with nature and the life processes that nature represents, life, death, renewal, stagnation, survival, and transformation. All of these phenomenons and more can be understood as we experience life, not through its complexities, but through the simplicities found in nature. It is through this fascination with nature, and the cycle that seeds must go through from dormancy to harvest, that I am able to understand the natural progression and laws of the universe. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message

"Life is not designed to be linear," yet we seem to be thrown off when we experience the turbulence and winds of everyday situations. Linear Eclipse is a poetic expression that connects the winds and storms of nature to the highs and lows of life. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message

Remember the Music (a poetic expression) was penned by Lady O during a time when a friend was experiencing a dark depression. This literary piece is an expression of what it feels like to understand the hidden thoughts and emotions of people who are unable to articulate their pain and emotions through words. "I was given your voice" is an empathic message that connects listeners to the idea that there are other people in the universe who are able to connect with their deeper emotional side. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message
Another poetic expression written by Lady O expresses what it means to lose the layers of false identity that one has been clothed in, and finally finding liberation in living a life of truth and authenticity. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message
"I am Centered" is a poetic expression about the sacred space that is found at the core of our existence. It is a beautiful illustration of what it feels like to totally embody the essence of who you really are. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message
I always talk about being bold, transparent and authentic; but after spending some time reflecting, I realized that I havent totally embodied all of those things. I constantly record my thoughts in an effort to capture them in the moment, but I negate to share the recordings because I have not found the time to edit the audio and "transform" it into something "shareable". Tonight, I realized that it's my raw authenticity that I wish to present to the world, not my edited representations. So with that being said, I present to you the true Confessions of a Lady. These are pieces of me: real, raw, unedited, unadulterated, and unapologetic. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/confessionsofalady/support
