Engage KSU - Student Town Hall Meeting

Two "town hall" style meetings were held to solicit student input and invite participation with the Engage KSU initiative. The Engage KSU model represents an institutional framework for recognizing, celebrating, and advancing community engagement efforts at KSU. The arrows forming the outside of the model signify the reciprocal relationship between the faculty, staff, administrators, students and alumni of KSU and our local, regional, national, and global communities. These reciprocal relationships encompass and inspire the work of community engagement that we see as central to this initiative, represented by the black circle at the core of the model. Underlying the core of community engagement, depicted by three converging golden circles, are the pillars of higher education: teaching, scholarship, and service. All members of the University – faculty, staff, administrators, students, and alumni – may enact and support community engagement through teaching, scholarship, and service
