Figuring It Out Together Podcast

As a leader, we sometimes get caught up in giving direction and expecting results. But when we don't get the results we were expecting, how do we react? Do we just start handing out consequences? Counting people out of the game? Or do we investigate and ask questions to determine the breakdown and reasons as to why the results were not met? It never hurts to ask questions for better understanding. It can create connections with our team and we can learn as much as our teams learn just by asking.

Don't count me out just yet. Many of you understand the mantra "It's not about how many times you fall, it's about getting back up and going again" or all the many versions of that. So I know its been a while and I realize that sometimes you take some detours in life but instead of sitting down and pouting (for too long) its about getting back up and finding your way back to where you were meant to be. I love sharing and talking with people and I always keep coming back to this platform to do so. Today I brought along with me a dear friend who shares the streaming dream I have. Angel Thomas. Also known online as H3ADHUNT3R0420 on many different social media platforms. As an army vet and a member of the LGBTQ community, she takes her experiences and love for sharing to gaming. She recently launched her Facebook page H3ADHUNT3R0420 to live stream and invite people in to share and be as one. She has a drive to build a safe space for Army Veterans and people from the LGBTQ community who can just hang out, watch her play video games or even play along with her. Check her out and show her your support. It's all about building up those around you and helping others when they fall. Let us know you are out there by sharing, and liking our pages/groups. Yes, yes...I realize I already did an episode Titled "I'm Back" but here I am again. You know what they say "Its not about how many times you fall, but how many times you get back up" or something like that. Just getting a quick post out there to check how my equipment is going to work and let ya'll know I am on the road again to figure out all that life has thrown at us. I am sorry I have been MIA lately. Life happens!! But I'm back and ready to catch up and get going again. Thanks to all those who kept trying to push me back on track! This episode is just about me catching up with what has been going on since my last episode. I also discuss some of the ah-ha moments I have had recently about just not knowing what someone is going through even when they are someone who is the closest to you. Gives a new perspective on how you interact with people when you are in public.

I also share some things that I use and am working on to help me find some "ME" time. I also share ways that I am beginning my day on a brighter, more positive note and steps I take to help work through stress. In this episode I talk about how I have struggles with confidence. As a parent, a leader and even as an adult. While we all go through struggles, during the darkest of moments, it is hard to find that confidence that we hold inside of us. Although I can recall times when my confidence was like putting on a super hero's cape, I struggle to leave that cape on through other areas of my life. We have to remember and remind each other daily that we are all amazing and we do amazing things. Doing that daily can and will help you and others hold on to that confidence and wear it like the super heroes we really are! 

Only my 2nd episode and I already have a guest speaker. Now, he may say he was tricked in to being a part of this episode, but I will say it was thanks to my mommy power of persuasion. Join me, as I chat with my oldest son on the topic our birth order and our thoughts about how it affects our personality traits, or does it?
