What does it mean to simultaneously belong and feel left out? That's the theme of our latest episode as we explore the duality of the Asian American experience. Listen to our classmates reflect on reconciling heritage, challenging models of success, and living under self-preservation.

In this third edition we bring you stories of love and of the ties that bind. The opening song is titled "Love + Martini" and was composed and performed by Joanna-Xiaojun Guo from the Class of 2018.

The way we move in the world is often influenced by our appearance, some of which we have control over and some we don't. The decisions people make about how they wear their hair for instance can often be fraught in with dilemmas. This is especially true of the relationship many black women have with their hair.
