In this podcast we unpack tolerance in the Muslim community, the tokenization of Islam in non-Muslim spaces, and the power dynamics associated with how Islam is viewed both in the media as well as in our isolated interactions. We hope you enjoy!!

on this episode, kaden and i try to deconstruct morality, flexible ethics, white supremacy, oppression and academic elitism (all very nonchalant topics yknow). morality is difficult to navigate and it’s, quite frankly, inconvenient, often purposefully so. we want to talk about what agenda that inconvenience serves and explore the motivations of empathy. we hope you love listening as much as we love making this for you and ourselves!

We wanted this episode to be a little more light-hearted given that it is our first post, and we want to ease you all into the gravity some of these conversations will have. We figured it would be interesting to unpack what love looks like in the technological age where the potential need for instant gratification seems to overtake our romantic encounters. Love is powerful, and we are all on the quest to finding it. Is it possible to find love in a world ruled by dopamine addiction? Hey listeners! This is our first ever podcast, and we are so happy to be sharing it with all of you. In this episode we figured it would be appropriate to introduce ourselves, and allow all of you to get a feel for the energy we hope to bring in future episodes. As we mention in this episode, this entire idea, we like to call it our "passion project", was sparked by the notion that there are truths surrounding conversations that should be brought to light. Truth can be inconvenient, and, in many ways, truth can be healing. We plan to uncover some of these truths that are relevant to us as well as our generation in the following episodes.
