Living ready for Messiah's returnt requires us to stay focused on Messiah because there is not power for change apart from Him.
What does it mean to live ready for Messiah's "at any moment" return? We need to stay spiritually discerning, distinguishing between good and evil and right and wrong.
In difficult circumstances, are we thankful? Only God Himself can enable us to be thankful for these kinds of situations.
We live ready for Messiah's return by staying fully engaged in spiritual growth.
Live Ready for the Lord's return by staying alert to the things to which Messiah has called us.
When we look at 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, we are going to see that living ready for Messiah's return means staying hopeful even in the face of death especially for those who know Messiah.
To "Live Ready" we must love lavishly, loving with the kind of love that God Himself teaches us.
If we want to be ready for Messiah's return, then we will want to give ourselves over more and more to learning how to live a life of purity.
We have been set apart for something different - for God's glory, His purpose and His destiny.
If we want to be ready for Messiah's sure return, we need to live prayerfully and ask Messiah for the things we need.
What brings you comfort? What makes you feel most alive? What makes you most thankful to God and brings you the greatest joy? The answers to these questions will tell you what your priorities are. How can Messiah transform our hearts and what we most care about?
Live proactively by sacrificing for others, when necessary, and by seeking to stabilize and encourage those who are suffering.
We live passionately for people because they are our family, because we have something to give them and because they are precious in God's eyes.
What do we do when we are being persecuted for the Lord? We live honestly by affirming the truth of the gospel and testifying of the truth of the good news. We can impact one another's lives if we live honestly before the Lord.
If we want to have a positive impact on people in terms of their relationship with God and in the world, we need to live intentionally so that our lives reflect the truth of the gospel.
People who impact our lives most are the ones who "live gently." They are other-centered, not distracted and have been transformed by Messiah Yeshua, abiding in Him daily.
How can we make a positive, life-transforming impact on others?
