Pretty Truthz Podcast was created with the intention to share real life experiences that will encourage our audience to live their truthz. Both host were teenage parents, who still completed their education, and accomplished every goal we set to achieve. We believe if you stay true to yourself, and use every loss as a lesson, your future will always be pretty. Thus we created the motto: The future is always PRETTY when you walk in your TRUTHZ!! Please, Tune in EVERY SUNDAY to hear Pretty B and Precious Truthz bring sass, charisma, comedy, and love to every episode!
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and the importance of social distancing, Precious Truthz and Pretty B were unable to record new episodes for a few weeks. We finally were able to record via Anchor using our phones, safely from our homes. We want to admit that recording separately was a bit uncomfortable, but once we get more acclimated with this change, episodes will be released more frequently. Please, bare with us as we navigate this change. We are both essential workers and are trying our best to remain safe and healthy. We also want to send love and light to all the people who have been severely affected by this pandemic and RIP to all the people we have loss. Their memories live on through us and strive to make them proud.
On this episode We want to have a healthy, comedic conversation about some of the best and worse experiences we've had regarding sex. We want to let our audience know that it's okay to have open dialogues about sex.
The premise of this episode developed from the recent responses to D. Wade's interview, where he discussed his support of his daughters decision to be called Zaya. D. Wade and his family are offering their support to ensure Zaya can feel comfortable being herself. On this episode we brought on a guest who went through similar experiences where she had to learn to become comfortable with herself and her sexuality. Furthermore we talk about how families and friends may have positively or negatively attributed to these feelings. We want to motivate our audience to be empowered to be themselves, and discuss how our journeys have allow us to do the same.
On this episode we will be discussing one of the most annoying generalizations, "ALL Men/Women ain't shit." We want to have a healthy, comedic, and respectful conversation about experiences that may have encouraged us to generalize a whole group of people. However, we also want to encourage our audience to assess people as individuals, and not hold prejudices that we don't want others to bestow upon us.
On this episode we will be discussing all of the impediments that prevented us from becoming Entrepreneurs/Business Owners (or achieving any other goals) sooner. We will discuss how we have learned to address them, and how we gained the courage to allow our dreams to become reality. We believe our audience will benefit from hearing our experiences and be motivated to begin to work towards goals they may have continuously deferred. We believe it's essential to speak of this topic early in our entrepreneur journeys, as we are currently being tenacious and tackling the very endeavors that stalled us in the past.
