There are two different types of religion in the world, even the Christian world. I address this in this introduction to this series.

What's new about the new covenant? Did everything change, or did some things stay the same as they were under the old covenant? Do we live righteous and holy by the works of the Law, or by the works of faith? What laws has God written on our hearts?

Religion teaches us to labor to be something we already are or gain something we already have. Like the Israelite's, we can wander in the wilderness for years, going around the same mountain, never entering our promised land because of unbelief. We can be saved and yet not enter into the fullness of what Christ has done because of unbelief.
